DS3 is a big fan of the princesses, and we have a princess lunch scheduled at Akershaus (sp?) next month. I know that most of the little girls dress in their princess outfits, but what about little boys? Do they dress up, wear a crown, anything special?

Did the princess brkfst with DD3 who dressed up. DS 7 did not, nor did DD11.
I did not see one boy dressed up, but that doesn't mean he couldn't. I think a crown would be cute, even just for the pictures.

When we had dinner at 1900 Park Fare last year they gave ds (4) a crown to wear. He just loved it. I'm going to bring one this year for him to wear to CRT and PSL. Why should girls have all the fun.

As a mom to two boys, I insisted on CRT breakfast for ME a few years ago. DS was 8 and never took his sunglasses off (way too cool for this thing, although he liked the suit of armor in the lobby area). My little one (just turning 4) was a Beauty and the Beast nut at the time. When Belle walked in to make her rounds he stood on his chair and said "Hey Belle, it's me, Ryan. I didn't know you'd be here!"
This still stands as one of the most magical moments I've ever had in MK! The face characters (princesses) are really good with boys, IMHO. THey seem to sense when one is too "cool" to be able to show that he's having fun.

I've never seen a little boy dress up, but that doesn't mean it's never been done! :earsgirl:

We ate at CRT and PSB last July. DS (4) dressed up as Prince Phillip both times. He got a lot of attention from the princesses. He was the only boy dresssed up, but it didn't bother him a bit.

My nephew was 3.5 the first year we went to CRT and he was dresses as Peter Pan and niece (his twin sister)was dresed as Cinderella. The character were really great with them in costumes, making comments, ect. Of course now that nephew is 7, he says anything but the princesses but he goes anyway. He chose Garden Grill as his choice of meal.

My son is turning five this year and he's a huge princess fan too! For his last birthday he wanted a Princess party. I was worried his dad wouldn't "allow" that but he said he's glad his son "is into the Laaaaadiees". Ha! We're doing Crystal Palace for his birthday lunch but will certainly be lining up to meet all the princesses too. I think a crown would be adorable at the breakfast.

We ate at CRT for our 10th Anniversary on 4/22. We have 5 year old triplet boys who absolutley loved it! Prince Phillip dropped off costumes in our hotel room for them to wear to eat breakfast in the castle. We carried the costumes and just put them on before we went into the castle.

The princesses spent a lot of time with us. It was so cute! The boys were blushing when the princesses came around.

When talking about the breakfast, I never referred to it as a princess breakfast, but rather just eating breakfast in the castle.

We had a great time there! The king had one of the waiters bring us champaign(sp?) flutes as an anniversary gift!

You'll have a great time!

Thank you for all of the replies. I am definately going to get him at least a crown to wear.
