I have two little boys ages 3 and 4 that hate princesses and think they are "yucky" :rotfl2:

"I" however... want to go to a princess character meal... I am not sure though it would be worth CRT since the boys probably won't love it...

Is there any that are more "boy-friendly"?

1900 Park Fare?
Norway?

TIA

I have 5 boys and they are all boy and they liked going to the castle. 1900 park fare is good to.

We did 1900 Park Fare (dinner) with our 13 year old son on January 12th. It was a big hit.

Prince Charming is there, and the stepsisters are a real hoot (screetching and yelling at each other, fighting between themselves, tattling to their mother, and just carrying on in general.....very much appealing to the boys in the crowd :) )

They brought my son out a King's crown in celebration of his birthday. He pretended he wanted the floor to open up and swallow him whole, but not-so-secretly loved every minute of the attention.

Food is great as well. Lots of stuff to choose from for everyone.

We highly recommend it!

I'm working on DS3 (soon to be 4) for the upcoming princess character meals on our trip. He doesn't seem to be so interested in them, but DD2 will be, and frankly, I and DW want to go, so he's stuck with us. ;)

That said, I think he'll have a blast being fawned over (he loves "older" women -- 4 to 94, doesn't matter... he's a flirt!) and seeing Daddy ham it up with he princesses will encourage him to do likewise.

I would do the castle.

Last year I didn't do a princess character meals since DD was only 2 adn I didn't want to "bother DH and DS" with it. I regret it. I should have done it for ME! Especially now that I booked ALL 3 meals for this upcoming trip since DD is 3 and LOVES the princesses and DH and DS are so excited about eating in the castle!! LOL

Maybe you could "knight" your boys and quest them with protecting Princess Mom for the meal, and make meeting the Princesses at the meal as an adventure.

Try showing them Sleeping Beauty(or at least the end of it) as the dragon fight sequence should appeal to most little boys. You could then give them swords and such for the meal, which will get them a lot of fun attention(especially if Aurora is one of the princesses) during the meal.

I thought I read somewhere that boys get a toy sword at CRT?
If that's true (I'm sure someone can confirm or deny this) your sons would probably enjoy CRT.

We went to CRT for dinner last year and all got swords (the males anyway). The females got wands.

In 2005, we took my then-13 year old DD to CRT for her birthday and I expected my then-8 year old DS to HATE it, but he loved it! We had a great server who treated him really well, so he wouldn't be jelous over his sister's birthday, I guess...but our DS really liked seeing the princesses, especially Wendy, who is not actually a princess, but you know....
in 2006, we went to Park Faire and had an even BETTER time! The Mad Hatter and Alice were so wacky, all of the character interaction was great. I'd chose the one you want, your boys will enjoy it.
