Princess Leia costume help

DD1 wants to be Princess Leia for Halloween. I have basic sewing skills and think I could sew up an outfit for her. Any tips on where to begin? Is there some pattern that I could follow? I mean how hard could it be to sew up a white robe? :rotfl2:
