Princess Fantasy Faire Pics

I am not at all against it if it is something for her age.. just there website showed pre teens and that is what got me thinking it wasnt for her age group. Do you think I will need reservations for a Saturday in December? That is the day we will be having a day to relax and just shop.

From what I've heard on these boards - a reservation to Libby Lu is a good idea. I think you just have to look up the number on-line for their shop in DTD and call them. I have heard that sometimes it rings and rings with no one answering, so you might want to start now. I don't know how early they book out for reservations, but it's probably a good idea to call and ask. I bet a Saturday is a really busy day for them. They have something very similar to Libby Lu where I live (it is called Monkey Dooz) and they have girls of all ages getting hair and makeup done and glittler nails also. My DD had a birthday there and they were just too cute!! Have a great time! :wizard:

Ruthie - I'll also be there the same time as you. I have two daughters, one 7 and one 4, and when my 4-year-old was 3.5 (like yours is now), she went to a birthday party at a LL at a nearby mall. She came home all dolled up, with a toy headset/microphone-boom around her head (she chose the "rockstar" option), and didn't take it off for a week. She wore it to Wal-Mart, she wore it to play outside, she wore it when watching American Idol, she wore it to bed (but that's where we drew the line). So, if she's a girlie-girl like mine, she's not too young for LL.

I'll have to admit that I thought she was too young to be getting all made-up like that, but I'm just an overprotective dad... :)
First of all I have to comment on your siggie! LOL!! That made me laugh! I was warned last week about my siggie, and had to make it smaller. :rolleyes1

Next...............girls will be girls. They love to dress up as you know, and age is not a factor. Every once in a while is great fun!! I can remember when I was young (many moons ago) just loving to get in my older sister's make-up and puttting it on, much to her dismay! :headache: I guess things never change.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is.......................you are a normal good father. Dads are supposed to be over protective. Thank goodness you are. But............................let her have her make-over. They are sooooooooo fun!! :cool1: :rotfl:  :cheer2:

(PS- Remember when I said things never change? Well, I still love to get makeovers at the make-up counters. ) :rolleyes1

Thanks! I edited my siggie after reading Mary Jo's thread about upcoming enforcement of siggie rules. It just made a lot of sense to me. I work with a group that builds websites, so I know all about how one stinking display element, if it takes a while to load from the web server it is stored on, can cause the whole page to load slowly. I've often felt like this is the slowest-loading forum I've ever been on, and know we know why. So, I put that in my siggie in hopes that it might catch-on. But, this is a really fun-loving forum, and the self-expression offered in siggies is important, so we'll see how it goes.

I will let them be girlie girls... but no makeup (yet). :)
