Hello, we were just at disney world in march and i remember seeing signs for the princess fairytale hall. Is it just a place to meet the princesses? and has it opened yet and if not when is it scheduled to be?
Thanks!

Yes, it will just be a place to meet the Princesses. There will be 4 Princesses available at any one time. I'm not sure if it was officially announced yet but I have read that it will be Rapunzel and Random Princess and Cinderella and Random Princess. You won't know who the other princess is until you get into the room, similar to meeting the Faeries.

There will be two separate lines, one for Rapunzel and Friend, one for Cinderella and Friend. You will need to line up twice to meet all 4. One of the Random Friends will be Aurora/Sleeping Beauty since she doesn't meet anywhere else at MK.

It has not opened yet, there is no official date for when it will open but it is scheduled to be open toward the end of the year.

How strange not to advertise for Aurora. So you have to take a random gamble and get in line for one princess and if Aurora isn't with her go through the other line too. :upsidedow

Yep. The term is "princess roulette". ;)

Odd if they are doing princess roulette (5cents) because I heard someone from Disney Institute speak at my company's user conference and he mentioned how to increase Cust Satisfaction they went and purchased magnets to identify which princesses where "in the house" . I wouldn't want to wait in line for princesses I have already seen or didn't care to see. but, that is just my opinion and perhaps they like the game of princess roulette. (5cents)

And I'm going to copyright "chump FP". That's a burgeoning market.

$$$ I think that could really catch on! :thumbsup2

$$$$$$ Woo hoo! Cha ching! ;)

I still don't know if it really will be princess roulette ($$$). But if it is, I don't know if they'll put something up to identify who is back there. Folks could then get in line expecting the one identified out front, only to see it change moments before their turn. It's just a bad arrangement all the way around. Ever try to find a specific fairy at Pixie Hollow? Yikes, that stunk.

They used to do true princess roulette ($$$) at the princess meet & greet at DL. It was awful. The lines were long and moved SO slowly. And to top it off, you could get back there to wave goodbye as your favorite princess leaving for the day.

:thumbsup2 Even last trip at Town Square, Aurora's photo wasn't on the board and the CM told us that she was "napping" She was the only one we were really interested in that day but decided to line up since the line was only 10 minutes. Aurora was there and according to the CM's inside, she had been there the entire the afternoon. When we went outside, her photo still wasn't up. :confused3

We have had terrible luck with that sort of thing too. My daughter went through the line at MVMCP several years ago in a Snow White costume and she wasn't there. We were told she wasn't there at all that night. I even went out into the gift shop and had the CMs call the character hotline. Nope, she wouldn't be there. Since we also had a Cinderella costume along that day my daughter went back through to find Cinderella........ and guess who else was there? :confused3

That is one of the things I find so frustrating at WDW. I realise that characters can't be guaranteed in advance however surely there is a way to find out where a character is that given day. At WDW, they have specific sets at specific spots. We were lucky that we decided to line up anyway and Aurora was there. Otherwise we would have missed her, despite her being inside!

Ok thanks. I wish Disney would release dates for these things to happen. I hope it's open by our November trip!

Then "Limited Interest Magic" is all mine!! When I become a gazillionaire, I'm buying Aulani, so better stay there soon before it's closed! ;)
