Princess expo and race ?

So this will be my first time attending the Princess half marathon. But I've done a couple half marathons, so I've seen other expos, but tell me about the Princess expo - what all do they have there? Anyone know if Bondi Band is there? Also, are there any vendors there selling "princess" tutus or skirts you can run in?

Also - on race day, does my family need a ticket to the park to see me finish or get to the family reunion area? And what time should they get there?

There will definately be vendors selling tiaras and running skirts at the expo. As race day get closer Disney will add a link to the brochure to their website and it will contain a list of the vendors at the expo.

OTOH, for a tiara, last year I went to Claires and found a kiddie one for about $5 and had friends who picked up ones from Michaels for about the same price. If I recall correctly, the ones being sold at the expo were in the $20 range, so you might want to try shopping before you leave home. If you don't have room in your luggage, you can always wear it on the plane

Can't give you any advice on time for the Expo. We usually fly down Friday morning and head to the expo from there, which gets us over there about noonish.

For the finish, if your spectators want to watch you in the parks, then yes they need tickets. As for the finish, if they want to watch the very end, there are a few places to stand and watch. On the other hand, they can stand where there are less crowds on the other side of the Epcot parking lot about mile 12- 12.5 which is another great place to give you that last boost to finish strong.

Anyone know if Bondi Band is there?

Bondiband will be there. If you are looking for a particular band, or want one of the princess styles I would get there early on the first day. They kind of pile all the bands on the table and let people rummage through them, so it's hard to find certain bands and colors if you aren't there early. They will probably sell out of the tiara style bands early, so if you want one of those you might think about ordering it online before you leave. I ordered 5 bands a couple weeks ago, and with the code FIVE, I got each of them for $5.
