In previous years when it's Coronation Day for a particular Princess, what time of the day does it happen at (day or night) and also is it a special ticket price??? There is a RUMOR floating around that there will be a Coronation Day for the Frozen characters on Weds, Sept 24th and we are vacationing at WDW during that week. I am just trying to figure out if I need to rearrange my ADR for that day!!!! Any help would be great, TIA

Ooohhhh, we are there that week.......where did you hear that rumor?

I sure hope this isn't true. We are supposed to be in MK that day. We have ADRs for prepark opening breakfast at Crystal palace and dinner at Be Our Guest. Unlikely we would be able to change days. We are not interested in the coronation. We chose this week for lower crowds. BF has terrible anxiety in crowds and would not be happy with this. Our boys are not interested in the coronation either.

We're there that week too, and have Wed the 24th already planned as an MK day. I'm sure my DD would LOVE to see the Coronation - is this a separate hard-ticket event, or is it something we could see with our regular park admission?

It hasn't been a special ticket even for previous Princesses. It's usually happens at MK in the morning and it is very popular. People couldn't move for Meridas Coronation and they blocked off sections of Main St during the coronation. Merida rode Angus to the Castle, Tiana had a carriage for hers.

yes not a special ticket price. if you are in MK that day and have a pre park reservation and worried about the anxiety of crowds, I would just stay away from Main Street after you reservation like go to ride rides/see shows or maybe MK wouldn't be the best choice for you guys that day!!! Sorry Chip is always dead on the money with "rumors" so I'm definitely thinking that it's gonna be that day!!!!

Thanks! Guess my guys are just going to have to suck it up and deal with it.

I'd think that would be to your advantage....depending on when it starts and when your breakfast ends, you may have to fight through the crowd or divert a different direction, but if "everyone" is going to be at the hub and on Main Street for the coronation.....think how short some of the ride lines are likely to be for your family.

Seriously, if you're not interested, then get in at opening and keep away from Main Street and take advantage of the shorter lines for attractions while everyone else is gawking at the princesses. I might even cancel the breakfast just to get the most out of that. Or when you leave Crystal Palace just go in the direction away from Main Street and toward Adventureland.

Sad to miss it... as with most other girls, my DD is Frozen obsessed. lol. We fly home on the 16th :worried:

Not only will my wife and I be there but it’s our anniversary. :cool1:

Of wow!!! We're there that day and at MK! it will be exciting to see the Coronation!!! We have a few days planned for MK do it will be exciting to be part of this by staking out our spots early. My 5yo will flip if this all works out!!!

Wait, so you can only get the character breakfast if you're booking through that company? Seems fishy...

Oh thank goodness we're leaving before that. That's going to be a mess and a half with how insanely popular the girls are at their meet and greet.

I'll be there that week and planning on MK that day. My dd will be so excited!

I don't think that's the official Disney Princess line coronation event at all. Sounds like a separate charge event for special groups and conventions that Disney is doing. In fact if you go to disneyauditions.com they are holding auditions soon for singers to be Anna and Elsa for Special Events and Conventions so I would say this is that exactly and not the official coronation/induction of Anna and Elsa into the Disney Princess line up.
