Princess Caitlin pre trip August '10 costarring dawnbu40

We're staying at Pop for the first half of the trip. We need to get a Disney property in somewhere! DH gave me the choice of 10 days at Pop or 5 days at a deluxe when we were crunching the numbers. Duh - of course I picked the longer trip. Then we did some more number crunching and figured that we could do a split stay (I get a nurse's discount at the dolphin) or upgrade to a mod. Since we loved the area so much, I think that the we made a good choice!

If I don't do a TR, at least I'll be posting the pics n FB. Hmm, thinking about making an ADR for Cape May just in case.....

Yes we will be staying at the Boardwalk in a preferred view one bedroom villa!

We are all very excited my mom and dad have always loved visiting Boardwalk so it's a dream come true!

Jill has always wanted to stay at Boardwalk. Trent said it was fabulous when he went over to see Wigd and Shocker there.

Sounds like a great trip! I'm sure you will enjoy both resorts and it'll feel like 2 vacations! I'll be looking forward to the pics on FB!

That's awesome about getting to stay at Boardwalk! Now you have to tweak your Day 1 plans just a bit, 'cause you'll be lounging at a different pool! You won't have to go as far for dinner, either! Are you renting points or can you just book the 1BDR villa?

That's awesome about getting to stay at Boardwalk! Now you have to tweak your Day 1 plans just a bit, 'cause you'll be lounging at a different pool! You won't have to go as far for dinner, either! Are you renting points or can you just book the 1BDR villa?

Yes our plans have all been scrapped and we've pretty much started all over Thankfully though I was able to change adrs and still get all the same restaurants and same times just different days. It will be really fun to take the boat over to BC for dinner

Yes - 11 days to be exact. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes as planned. Leaving the kids at home has become increasingly complex and they hate having any supervision. Teenage boys are not fun.

The couple we are traveling with are now emailing me all types of questions about the trip. It's all stuff that I told them months ago, being the obsessive planner that I am. Truthfully, it's kind of funny. I really hope they enjoy themselves. It's going to be strange to travel with a couple who are not crazed Disney fans. I hope I don't have too much planned. I am now reconsidering auditioning for AI just so they have some downtime built into their schedule.

Who knows, maybe with you as an incredible tour guide your friends will catch the magic and become crazed Disney fans like the rest of us? Even if they don't I'm sure you'll all have a great time!

You definitely need to try out for AI! We had a lot of not so great talent when we went to watch so you don't want all of those people wishing they had a great singer when you didn't try out! Plus who does downtime on a Disney vacation

Ahh the Boardwalk! That is so exciting. My family stayed there in Jan. and loved it. That's one of the next DVC resorts I want to stay at since I didn't go with them.

I must admit the first time we visited it I wasn't too impressed but over the last couple visits I have fallen in love with AK! It is hands down my favorite park to photograph!

We booked CG because we thought we should try out the restaurants in that area but didn't want to use our credits on signature dining. Fingers crossed it's good when we both go there!

Thanks Knock on wood not one of us as ever gotten sick after a meal on vacation , so I am def keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way !
