Is the PSB breakfast still as good, with tons of Princesses and good food?

We went 2 yrs ago and it was awesome. DDs still talk about it.

We just made res. to stay at WDW in July. So on a whim I call and was able to get PSB breakfast on the day I wanted and a decent time. I know the early AR is better because princesses are fresher(is that even a word) and the wait is not as long.

So, opinions?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it's still one of the best character meals. Usually 4-5 princesses and lots of interaction. We've done the dinner the last two trips, but before that, the breakfast was great.

which princesses are typically present? My daughter loves Cinderella & Aurora. I've been told Cindy will only show at the castle. What about Aurora?

When we went in Oct '05, we had 5 princesses, Snow White, Aurora, Mulan, Belle and Jasmine. My friends went in May of '07 and did the dinner and said it was awesome and there was also five princesses. Cinderella is only at Cinderella's Royal Table, but I have also heard that she is at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for the character Dinner.

Have fun!!!!

My family and I ate breakfast there a month ago. We saw Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan, and Belle. Belle was only in the lobby for pictures -- she didn't come around to the tables.

Honestly, my DD6 didn't seem too impressed with this character meal. The princesses seemed rushed and did not spend much time at our table. The food was good, but the interaction was lacking.

Of course, we had a later breakfast reservation (10:10am), so maybe that had something to do with the rushed feeling? :confused3

Last year we did a breakfast and 2 lunches. Cinderella was at both lunches. We also had Mary Poppins, Mulan, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Aurora, Snow White and Belle.

DD4 loved every meal and the princess interaction was great! We're going back for lunch in September!:thumbsup2

You've been told wrong. Cindy is always at CRT (but only for a photo op -- she doesn't do tables there), and she is always at 1900 Park Fare. We have done Norway three times, and she was there once. I think she is there regularly, but not every day. And I'm sure they do not have a schedule of who is going to be at the restaurant on which day.

The Norway princess one is our favorites. Lots of princesses and really good food. We all like it way better than Cinderellas at the castle-the food is 100% better at the Norway one. The potatoes are really good.

We have seen Aurora, Belle (she's usually the one that takes the photo), Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Ariel.

Right, the princess doing photos does not come around to tables. You'll see a photo-op character at many character meals, and they are not usually involved in table visits unless they rotate duties.

The three times we've been there, the princesses have come to our table more than once, made small talk with DD, signed autographs, and posed for as many pictures as we cared to take.

They're princesses, so they don't do a cute little parade like Pooh and Tigger. And they don't sit down and have lunch with you. But they have always spent as much time as we wanted them to spend.

That's actually been true at all the character meals we've enjoyed at WDW. It's not a private lunch with a character, but they make sure you get what you came for -- at least that's always been our experience.

We ate at 6 character meals during our trip, and at 5 of the 6 I would agree with your assessment that the characters did a great job of "making the rounds." At these other 5 character meals, we got to see all of the characters atleast twice...sometimes 3 times. Every one of those meals were great and exceeded our expectations.

The 6th character meal (Norway breakfast) was the polar opposite. I did not expect the princesses to "sit down and have lunch with us," nor did I expect them "to do a parade." But I did expect them to make more of an effort to interact with my DD6. The princesses we met in the parks were much more talkative and friendly than the ones at the Norway breakfast.

For example, we saw Snow White in the World Showcase, and my daughter asked her how to spot a poison apple. Snow White gave her a lengthy response about what to look for -- it was very cute!

At the Norway breakfast, my daughter asked Snow White if there were any poison apples in the restaurant. Snow White responded, "No. Do you have an autograph book you'd like me to sign?" Where's the magic in that response???

This same sort of curt response was true of all of the princesses at the Norway breakfast, not just Snow White.

I still wonder if the hurried pace was a function of our late breakfast reservation time and the fact that the restaurant was mobbed with people? Even the wait staff seemed hard pressed to keep up with the tables they had.

Anyway, I know alot of people have had wonderful experiences there, so we plan to try it again on a future trip and hope for a better experience. pixiedust:
