I just saw the movie and loved it! Now I am super-excited for Journey Into Narnia. And especially for meeting Caspian himself! (just wish it was Ben Barnes himself! :rotfl: )

Went to the midnight showing and we loved it! :thumbsup2 Definately one to see again!

DH and I saw it and lunch and enjoyed it. It wasn't totally true to the book, but since movies rarely are, it was all good. I was just amazed at the number of little kids in the theater (under 4). We saw one lady who had four little ones with her who had to leave 1/3 of the way into the show. The kids were well behaved, but all of the battle scenes were scaring them and a good amount of the movie seemed to be fight scenes so....

We'll definitely be getting it on DVD, and I'm really hoping they'll decide to continue with the series.

I saw the movie at midnight, and loved it!! I am also seeing it again tonight at 10.

I can't wait to see Caspian in FL!! Only 5 more days!

We saw Prince Caspian on Thursday, the first day he was out there at the Studios. He is quite good, really plays the part and is great with the guests. My 7 year old fell in love with him. We just got home but will upload the pictures soon.

We saw him too! I think they have another winner there!

I'm so glad to hear the reviews are good! We are going tomorrow afteroon and the kids can't wait!:thumbsup2

We saw it this afternoon!! We really liked it!!! :thumbsup2

We just got back. We liked it but it is on the long side. Kids enjoyed it but said they did prefer The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe better.

I took my daughter and three of her friends last night for her birthday. She absolutely loved the movie, but I'm glad I did not take my 5 yo. Definitely too scary for her. "Prince Caspian" is going to be at DHS? That's and autograph I'll have to get, lol. (Too bad it won't be the real thing.)

oh post the pictures here please!! I would love that so much! I'm going to get to meet him on June 3rd and I'm so excited! Thanks!

Here are the pictures I took. My only complaint was that at that time of morning the sun hit the backdrop odd so it is funky lighting. It looks the same in the photopass pictures too. We went in the morning time.

We LOVED it-my five year olds included. Lots of battle scenes, but no blood/gore/amputations...so not yucky!

LOVED IT LOVED IT!

SQUEEE!!! I am even more excited now! Thank you so much for posting these!!! And your little girl looks adorable!
btw: is she a dancer? I recognize the fifth position pose- classic dancer stance for photos lol

Actually it was funny. Prince Caspian asked her if she was a ballet dancer and Julia said noooo, she's an Irish dancer. She has been doing Irish dance for 2 years, that is an "at rest" position in Irish dancing too.

Just saw it yesterday with my 3 girls. My youngest was a little freaked during one part with the White Witch but other than that loved it! Wow, it was gooooood!! Better than the first one and we loved the first one. Definitely buying it when it comes to DVD. I told my girls that Prince Caspian is at Disney and we'll get to see him in November when we go! They were so excited and want to get his autograph! :goodvibes

We just got back and we absoultely LOVED the sequel! It was far better then the first one. I loved the White Witch scene, very unexpected.

Just for the sake of discussion - a dissenting viewpoint.

We thought if the first movie was a 10, this was about a 4.

Just a few points:

We were apparently supposed to be aware that there was something important about trees in Narnia - Lucy was obviously aware, but I don't recall anything from the first movie referencing this.

It completely lacked a compelling villain. Yes, there was one - but he was simply a run of the mill evil king.

We kept waiting for it to come together as a coherent story and didn't think it ever did.

We just returned from seeing it and DD10 and I both liked it as much as the first. Now we can't wait to meet Prince Caspian in November. This movie gets :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 from us!
