Does anyone know what is included in the Prince and Princess add-on or how much it costs to add them to a resort package? We were thinking about adding the silver add-on BUT I don't know if we need all of that. I read somewhere about a Prince/Princess add-on, am I loopy or does it really exist? ::MinnieMo

We added it to our package...I think it's like $100-$150...Here is the info:

Soo, Can I purchase the princess package just for my DD who will be turning three on our trip? I am going to really play up the whole Disney Princess thing. Did you mention that she gets a princess outfit? We have the Silver package added to our resort ressies right now. Actually, I didn't have to pay for a package for my DD because she will be two at the beginning of our trip. I'm not sure what to do with her. Is most of that included with the Silver package anyway? ::MinnieMo

The cost is a flat rate of $23 per adult or junior, and $64 per child (3-9yo). For my DD5 and myself, we paid-$83
The will charge you per person booked under the package so you probably cant get it just for your child.
You do also get $50 disney dollars to spend as you please (on a princess dress etc...). I look at that like it will only cost us $33 because that money will go right into the budget for food.
You already have a character breakfasts included in your Silver plan but not the other things (special seatings, 50 disney dollars etc...).
I looked into doing both but I ended up just doing the P&P because I couldnt financially justify the Silver. I think we could do it cheaper ala carte instead of paying and extra $500 and forcing it to make it pay for itself, but the P&P I couldnt beat with a stick! I would pay that much for the special seatings alone!!

I just added this to my package. After doing some research on the disney websit, I learned that only one show can be used for the special seating at each park. Have you heard that anywhere else. I was a little bummed found out. Let me know.

WOW! Could that print be smaller?!? I just went back to check out what you posted about the one park thing and there it was...had to squint to read it but it says "One theme park per seating"!!!

Now Im reconsidering...feeling a little jipped:(

I took the fine print to mean that you could only see each show one time with the special seating, rather than see the same show many times and have special seating every time. I don't think it means you only get one special seating per park, just one special seating per show. Anyone know for sure?

I hope you are right. I would hate to decide on one show per theme park. Thanks for the reply.

Is that cost regardless of number of nights?

Hi!

We also added this to our package. It definitely seems worth the money, its practically free when you consider the $50 disney bucks and character breakfast costs.

As for the show seating, when we were making our ressies I was transferred to the dining hotline to set up our character breakfast PS and also to set up PS for the VIP seating. The cast member assured me that the seating was good was for all shows listed and I PS'd for 4 of the 6 available shows.

Although I would be disappointed if it was only good for one show per park, its still a good deal especially if you were planning to do a character meal as we were.

Can someone please clarify on the seating for the shows does it have to be ps's or can you show up at the show with your voucher? We are going the first week of Feb so it should be slow but would like the advantage of better seats but don't want to plan where we have to be at the parks everyday.

I was just reading this on the Disneyworld.com website as I'm adding it to our package and it does state that PS arrangements have to be made for the shows. On the one hand, I like knowing that we'll get our seats no matter how busy the park is. On the other hand, that leaves little room for flexibility. I understood the requirements to read I can choose one show at MGM and one at AK. Is that correct or is it one PS per show? From what I read above, it looks like 1 PS per show! That would be great!

I wanted to add the Princess and Prince plan on to my reservation, but they told me I could not add it to my discounted package (I'm booked in with Canadian at Par). Is this the same with all discounted packages or just with this one? I figured I could pay regular pruce for the add-on while still getting my Dream Maker package at the discounted price. Anyone else had any luck with this? I've called twice and talked to 2 different CM's, but neither would let me add it on.

I added it on to my Visa Kids Free discounted package through my travel agent. Not sure if it's the same for the Canadian package though.
