Pride Nite June 16

Monday and Wednesday are the 15th and 17th next year. Also, the days for the past few years have been:

Thu/Sat
Tue/Thu
Tue/Thu
Mon/Wed (this year)

So they may return to Tue/Thu (June 16th and 18th) next year, with, as you say Juneteenth not falling until Friday. All guesses, of course...

I stand corrected. But it’s unlikely they’ll host the event at the same time as Grad Night (again, attendance takes a hit from more profitable non-MK when the parks close early) and even less likely it’ll be on a Saturday again. Especially when neither night sold out and reports are that attendance was lower than in years past.

I’ll stick with my prediction - M/W the week following Grad Nites, as people will be coming into town Thursday for a long weekend.

The dates I guessed for Pride are not at the same time as Grad Nites; they're the week following the final Grad Nite (Friday, June 12).

Hah, we'll have to see how many people sneak out of work on Thursday next year, given that it won't be a holiday! If M/W went well this year, Disney may do that again instead of going back to Tu/Th.

I think when my booking window opens, I'll book the Monday and Tuesday of the week after grad nights. If that's wrong, I can always cancel and waitlist, I guess.

I'm bumping this thread to ask a couple questions for those who attended last year. I am trying to figure out if I would be happy to only attend the after hours event without extra park days. Potentially, I might do some DCA earlier in the day, but my past experiences have made me tired during the after hours event if I already spent a lot of time at the park beforehand.

What were the hours of the event?
Were most of the rides open and short lines?

My experience was that it seemed more crowded than my SW nite from the standpoint that there were a lot more groups and families there and they were more interested in rides than other activities, i.e. taking photos and such. Therefore, the lines were longer.
i will not be going this year as I didnt really feel like it paid off.

However, this year's SW may be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT for me since they cut back so dramatically on the nights. I anticipate larger crowds but then, these folks are more interested in Ewoks than Pooh Bear so we'll see...

Maybe next year I should do a Sweethearts night since those seem to be in abundance😂🤣

We had a blast last year. We did Disneyland in the morning, a big break, dinner at DCA and then over to Pride Nite. It was from 9-1 with the mix-in starting at 6. I forget exactly which rides were open, but the ones we went on were walk-on.

If you're flying into town anyway you could add 1 park day for the day before and then relax the morning of the event.
