I can't seem to find the prices for a reception at the Animal Kingdom, does anyone know?

o0o0o finally an area I can help in!

If depends where you are having it and that is limited by your guest count.

This is a quote from an email from a wedding planner "You can do a Reception in front of Expedition Everest. The event must start 2.5 hours after park close. There is a $3000.00+ venue rental fee, a $10,000.00++ food and beverage minimum expenditure, and you MUST rent the Expedition Everest attraction as well, which is $8500.00+. Meal service for this venue is buffet only. Additionally a Disc Jockey will run around $6500.00 for the Reception.

For Harambe Village, you must have a minimum of 200 guests in order to use that location for a private event."

I remember from other emails that Belvedere is a $3,000 site fee, Tamu Tamu was $250ish and Flame Tree Gardens was $500.

I hope it helps... and that the fees haven't gone up in the past year!

I don't understand why you would have to rent Expedition Everest if the park is already closed. It's not like it would be running and people could ride it.

My records show Tamu Tamu has a $325 site rental fee. This location holds a max of 50 people.

Belvedere Courtyard has a $3,000 venue package fee (that does not include background music) and a $5,000 F&B minimum. Events must start 2 hours after park closing and the site is not available April to September. You could also have your ceremony here to get the most bang for your venue rental fee.

Any AK locations would require you to charter a Motorcoach for (I believe) 5 hours.

I think I was mostly looking at the Tamu Tamu site, 325 doesn't sound bad!

Thanks!

I'm having our pre-reception and reception at Tamu Tamu it is even more beautiful in person. Or it could just be that I see the potential that it has. =)
You don't really have too add to too much decor it's already got nice lighting, the tables and chairs aren't bad ... I guess if you're going with a rustic/vintage look it's perfect! I'm excited !

Pricey eh! I would hope for that amount of cash you could ride Expedition Everest as much as you want while your renting it lol

Have you seen any pics of a wedding there?
