Prices at Publix on the way to WDW

If we just wanted to stop for a case of soda and beer are their prices outrages, it is worth a side trip to wal-mart just for those items..thanks in advance

Good Question!
Probably depends on how much you want to stock up. If just beer and soda don't waste the gas, hit the first store or C-Store.
If more groceries, stay away from Gooding's, look for Publix or WalMart. Publix is pretty good and WalMarts are few and far between.

For soda, one week Pepsi is on sale, and one week Coke is on sale. They rotate, usually one is one week, and the other is the next. I really enjoy the store brand soda, as well.

Not a lot of experience with beer prices, as I don't drink beer.

Publix does tend to be more expensive than Walmart, of course.
