I have used priceline many times. I always refer to biddingfortravel.com. What questions do you have?

Did this Oct. 2003. Bid for 3* in the airport zone at $35/room for 3 rooms and got the Marriott Renaissance. Nice rooms in little bit older builder but well kept up. Used the free shuttle to get to hotel and a town car service from hotel to ship.

Did this Feb. 2004. Bid for 3* in the airport zone at $40/room for two rooms for two nights and got the Hyatt inside the airport. These were also nice rooms and very convenient.

I have never used Priceline for Orlando sorry. betterbidding.com is another Priceline site that may help as well.

We used Priceline for a resort category hotel in WDW area back in March. Got the Marriott Orlando World Center for $85/night. It was wonderful - no complaints. I would try for a resort hotel first, then if that doesn't work for up to your limit, start a completely new bid for a 3 star (don't add 3 star to your resort bid). FYI, you may also want to check Hotwire. Last time I looked for January, they had the Doubletree Club in the WDW area for $44/night.

Two websites for reference are:
www.biddingfortravel.com
and
www.betterbidding.com

i have used bidding for travel.com and that is very helpfull. Just looking for some additional imput/opinions about orlando are hotels that people have stayes in using priceline. Thanks for all the responses

About 4 weeks ago...I bid on priceline for a 3* hotel for Jan 2005. I bid 45 and got turned away so then I bid 58 at the request of the site and got a room in the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort in the Disney World Resort. When I went to the Best Western site to check out the normal rates for this resort...it said 129.99 per night. I am not complaining about 58 a night and I hear it is a nice place to stay!!!!!

Good luck :)
