When do you find out what hotel you are staying at? Is it right after you give your credit card info. and confirm?

Once you place your bid and it is accepted by Priceline, they give you the hotel name right away.

you don't confirm - if you place a bid and it is accepted - you have to take that hotel....

I have been very happy with the hotels - Wynham once for $23.

most people are - or priceline will lower there rating

- they have a different rating than AAA or other tour places.

there is a site that will tell what hotels are on priceline and what the bid was for that hotel -

hopefully someone will come back with - my memory isn't work too well today....

Chrissy - I find Hotwire to be less of a "risk taker" than Priceline since you can usually find out which hotel is being offered by doing some research before being locked into a non-refundable reservation. Wyndham Palace & Spa and the Courtyard by Mariott show up frequently on Hotwire for excellent rates and are easy to identify. Also, the 3 Universal hotels sometimes show up. Mousesavers.com helps with the identification of the Universal resorts.
