Just got a rate of $130 plus taxes of $24 for a total of $154/pp from Austin, TX to Orlando for next June. I bid $120 last Saturday & was denied. After looking at all the low fare sites(Hotwire, Expedia, etc.) for the last several weeks, I calculated an offer of $130 that with taxes would still come out $10-20 lower than the lowest published fare. Guess what-they accepted! I was also able to get trip insurance for each ticket & my final price was $177/pp. That is about the lowest price I could find anyways plus I got the insurance! I'm feeling pretty good. Plus my times are great. Arrive at the Swan late afternoon & not depart Orlando on our last day until 5:40 pm. What do you think?

Great deal!!!
I have become a real fan of sites like Priceline and Hotwire lately. Usually we are doing the Disney cruise and cannot use them for air because we need to either leave after work the day prior or as early as possible the day of the cruise. But now, we either stay at a hotel near the airport in Chicago or in Orlando if we arrive the day before, and we always seem to get a great rate on the "suite" hotels near the airports (for example, $33). Sometimes you can even find online coupons for additional money off, although I haven't had much luck with those lately. We're staying at the Amerisuites by MCO tomorrow night with a Hotwire deal.
