Has anyone ever had any experiences with priceline or name your own price? just wondering how trustworthy the are??

I have used Priceline's bidding service numerous times for hotels. It works great. Never had a problem.

I love priceline as well. I had 2 problems (both were my own fault ) out of several dealings , and priceline was able to fix them for me. They didn't have to do anything for me, but did anyway. No complaints with priceline at all.

My husband likes using Priceline. We've gotten great deals through them. Last December we had to cancel our hotel ressies halfway through our trip because the airline we flew down on went bankrupt and we had to drive our rental car all the way back to NW Indiana.

DH called them and they gave us a refund for the remaining nights we wouldn't be using. (This is an unusual circumstance, though, and he was told they don't make too many exceptions to their policy regarding refunds, but it worked out ok for us in the end - we got to go back to WDW this February on the refunds we got from our room and our total airfare amount!)
