You could get Hertz through Priceline. Many people on this board have gotten a full size car for $13.00/day through Priceline and it was with Hertz. Having said that, people who have used Hertz say that the shuttle runs regularly and they have had good experiences even though Hertz is not in the airport.

That's what I'm saying. Hertz and Avis are the largest, and tend to be highest-priced, rental agencies out there. In my experience, I haven't gotten a car from Hertz since I've been using Priceline, but others' experiences may vary. I suppose it also depends on where you're renting from.
There's really nothing you can do to improve your chances of NOT getting a particular car rental company when you bid. If the location of the agency is more important to you than saving what may be a substantial amount of money on a rental, then Priceline definitely isn't the way to go.

I have not tried Priceline yet 'cuz I am worried I won't be able to get what I want (pickup from the Car Care Center & ret. to MCO).
Best I could come up with otherwise using codes and prepay and anything else I could think of was $226.
