I noticed when i got my confirmation email from Priceline, I accidentally put 2 guests instead of 5 for our stay at B Resort. The room is meant for up to 5 people. But I’m wondering if I should call and let them know. 3 of us will be leaving after 2 days. Is there a reason they need to know?

I wouldn't worry about it so long as you booked a room with the correct occupancy.

Since you are booking through a third-party site, it might be a good idea to call the hotel before you arrive to make sure you have the correct room type. You don't want to end up with a room that only sleeps 2 or 4 people, especially if you arrive late in the evening.

When you book via Priceline or some other third party, my experience is that it makes it harder for the hotel to fix any issues than if you book directly.

I'm not predicting something will go wrong with your reservation, but that is just something to watch out for.
