Price range for photographers for desert party?

So I understand that the disney photographers are not the best at shooting people, very good at fireworks. I am planning an epcot desert party and would love photographs taken. Does anyone know a ballpark rate for an outside photographer for 1-1.5 hr? I don't even know where to start with booking this? Suggestions?

Well who besides roots are well known for wdw? I have seen a lot of roots work that is amazing but would like other options to price shop , any options?

Disney Fine Art Photography charges $350 for dessert parties. You could also reach out to other Orlando-area wedding photographers - a search of "outside photographer" on this board will turn up quite a few.

We added the roots for our dessert party the night before our wedding. They were $350 as well. We haven't gotten the pictures back yet but what we have seen of the wedding has been amazing so far!

ok so I am sooo far out of the wedding planning phase I have no idea how pricing works. Is the $350 just for taking the photos or does that include digital file?

$350 for an event like that with images included is a good deal. That's about what I get for similar events. I'm not in the Orlando area, but just throwing out the ball park pricing for you.

Be wary of Disney fine art photogs. You get whomever is on the schedule. So you don't necessarily know how good they are. And I've seen some very low quality stuff of theirs.
