I just priced a package for 7 nights with didning at POp. It's 2 adults and 2 children. The price was 2405.00. Is this a good rate for the end of November? Will a code save much or if I join AAA? Thanks for any help.

Depending on the date of your trip, it's either Value season or Regular season at the Value Resorts:

Value Season: January 1 - February 15, August 27 - October 4, November 26 - December 19
Regular Season: April 23 - August 26, October 5 - November 25

AAA will give you a discount of 20% off teh room rate Value Resorts during Value Season or 15% off during Regular Season. You would have to book your package through AAA to get the discount.

Is there any way your family can go during the free dining promotion? It runs Aug 13- Sept. 30 and is a substantial savings. We got 7 nights at POP with 7 day hoppers that expire with free dining 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child for $1585. (Non-opper tix would have been $1444.)

We went in March for 6 nights and did a AAA package and ended up saving about $150 after buying the AAA membership for just my dh. it was only $38 here in Alabama. To me it was definitely worth it. I can give you the name and contact info for our agent if you want, she was great! I got her name here too. She knows Disney =)

That's exactly what we got too!

Is that with admission tickets too?? I am paying $660 for 8 nights with AP rate for June 2-10th (room only). That is regular season which is also the season you are traveling. You may be better off doing an ala cart vacation... :confused3 I think what you are paying is a lot...

YES! My $1585. includes 7 day park hopper tickets and the free dining plan! I'm actually saving about $900 with the free dining and I'm THRILLED about it!

That one doesn't sound too bad but the other at $2405 is too much!

It's the dining that's pushing that price up. Plus, 3DisneyBuggs doesn't mention if they're booked over Thanksgiving weekend or not. That will hike the price up too.

We are staying for 7 days and 8 nights at Pop Century, 2 adults & 2 kids in May (regular season rates). We have the ultimate parkhoppers (free upgrade), the dining plan and standard room for $2479.84. We booked through AAA, but when the free parkhopper upgrades came out, we took that and ended up paying rack rate for the room which ended up being $10 bucks cheaper than the same package with just the regular park hoppers.

Your price sounds high. Did you upgrade to a preferred room, purchase insurance, and/or add ultimate parkhoppers?

Mary

I think I must be paying too much! We have a package in Mayfor 9 nights for 2 adults, 2 children with Dining Plan for 2500....does that sound like way too much?

:confused3

I knew the dining was pushing it up, but it still sounded too high. I know that rate can't compare to a room only. what I was trying to get accross was that they may want to figure out just exactly how much more they are paying for the "free dining".

You don't give the age of your children but even if they are both under 10, almost $900 of this is the dining plan. Than it depending on your ticket type (considering again your children's ages) this really isn't bad at all. IMHO

They're ages 5 and 6, and my got the free upgrade for PH & More, so we paid about 1800 for 9 nights at Pop with base tickets and I added the dining plan on later and it added 892 dollars. So that turns out to be about 2692. I didn't think it was too bad, just want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. :)

We do plan on going to BB and Disney Quest so the ticket upgrades help. :thumbsup2

You are paying $213 more than we are but you have an extra night and most likely an extra day at the parks than we do (we have 7 park days and 8 nights at POP in May), so that sounds about right. We are only planning on going to one of the water parks for a 1/2 day and to DT Disney (Disney Quest) for 1/2 day, so that's one less day we'll be at any of the parks. Even though it's free, I'd much rather have had the free dining that's offered in August & September! Oh well, I guess there's a payoff with the weather not being quite so hot, and no risk of hurricanes in May.

How did you get a Park hopper upgrade? We're going in July with 7 day base tix (not bought yet) and are trying to decide about going to PH.

Thanks!
