I have done a search but I have not found, how much does it cost for 2 adults to go to HHN?
Other questions I have
Can you go to both parks with one ticket?
Are any rides open?
Is it only Thursday - Sunday?
Do you have to have a regular admission ticket as well or can you get in with just the HHN ticket like MNSSHP at Disney?
What are the hours typically?
How much are the express tickets?
How far in advance can you order the tickets and can you buy them there?

I have seen some answers but nothing conclusive.
This will be our first time - as you can tell, so I want to do it right.

Thanks for all your help.

HHN normally starts on the first weekend then they start to expand the days of the week. If you look at the calendar on the Universal website you can tell the nights that they are running by them closing the park at either 5 or 5:30 on the HHN nights.

As for ticket prices nothing for this year has been released. Last year for a non-peak night it was $45.00 and I think peak was $55.00.

They do sell express pass that gets you into each of the houses but I never used them I think??? the price was $25.00.

All of the rides on a peak night was open last year at IOA but nothing for this year has been released yet. Rumors are that all of IOA will be open and Mummy, shrek, Jimmy and Twister will be at US.

HHN is a seperate ticket event, even if you go there during the day you must have a seperate ticket but they will let you stay in the park and let you start out earlier than the open the park (Stay and Scream Pass).

Last year the park opened at 7 and closed at 12 for non-peak and 2 for peak. They do close the coasters down at 10 though due to noise.

Rumors are that you would be able to enter either gate but that isn't officially released yet.

I've recently heard that in IOA, JP and Toon Lagoon will not be open, and in USF everything before the lagoon (Mummy, Twister, Shrek, Jimmy Neutron, T2) will be open.

I also just heard today that they will start to sell tickets on July 1. The price is $54.95 there isn't going to be a peak or non-peak prices. There will also be a frequent fear pass but I don't know that price yet.

Does that mean that into the night they keep some of the US rides mentioned open?? That would be great as I am popping the DS's into child care as I also want to ride the Mummy as well as go to the HHN at IOA. Did they do that last year? and does the HHN ticket give you access to US at that time?

Thanks

Denise :D

Am I lost here. You say enter either gate. Is there a second gate that I don't know about.

I figured that out after I posted. I was over thinking things and thought maybe there was another entrance to IOA.
sort of like at Disney where there are a few places to enter parks that few people know exist

What else happens during HHNs besides the haunted houses and the scareactors?

Are there special shows? Any other special things that are included? (Like how MNSSHP includes a photo.)

We are doing MNSSHP and are debating about HHN, but $55 seems harder to justify when we are not big Halloween people. At Disney we know we'll enjoy the special shows and parade, and seeing the characters dressed up, but I'm wondering if we'll really enjoy ourselves at HHN? The main reason I was interested in going is I think BF and I would both be interested in all the details of the houses and costumes, but not sure what else we'd enjoy beyond that.

There's the houses, usually 5, the scareactors roaming the park in "scarezones", the overall Halloween atmosphere of the park, the rides are open, The Bill & Ted show which is a comedy spoof of the people/characters that were a part of the year's pop culture, and if the 2 park rumor is true the parade could be returning.

I don't know about the parade yet. From what is being heard it is only going to be the area leading up to the lagoon and that is all part of the parade route though. I've been hearing that there might be 6 houses this year.

It would be cool if they got the AP section of their website all the way up, and you could buy your HHN tickets with your AP discount right online. But, I'm sure they won't as they are still advertising AP rates at the hotels for 4/25 - 5/27. :(

Can you order HHN tickets over the phone if you have an AP? Anyone know what # to call?

TIA!

We don't know. It depends where they decide to build the haunted houses. They've used attractions before, which causes them to shut down during the event.

Actually, the number I have been hearing is 7.

Four in the Soundstages, one in Quake queue, one in Herc and Xena, and one in the Marvel warehouse (where Carnage was for HHN XII).

In regards to the houses, is there a lot of originality to the individual houses or is it more along the lines of "if you've seen one house, you've seen em all?" The price seems really high and I am just wondering if you guys feel it is justified?

Thanks.

I just called the AP line, and they told me that HHN tickets weren't on sale yet. :(

Anyone have the scoop?
