Previously used magic bands

Can we put my DD's new PH ticket on my husband's previously used magic band? We've made ressies for next month at The Swan (girls only trip). I realize that The Swan doesn't use magic bands for room keys or charging, and my DD could buy a magic band for her ticket, but am wondering if she could just use the old magic band we have already. I'm sure the answer is somewhere on these boards, but dang if I could find it!

Actually, because the MagicBand is linking to a new ticket, your DD's biometric scan will then be linked to the new ticket. So, the MagicBand can be used by your DD. Before you head to your vacation, just change your DH's name in MDE to your DD's name.
