This sounds like a good, inexpensive souvenir for my kids. They love pressed pennies! Where can the machines be found? I honestly have never noticed them at the parks before.

They are everywhere! But seriously I know there is a listing on one of the sites but can't remember which one. My girls love them although they are not as inexpensive as you think. They are fifty cents plus the penny. My girls take their change in an M&M tube and when it's gone, they are done. They also have the book to keep them in at home.

I agree with "they are everywhere"

Check this website: http://www.presscoins.com/

These are a great collection thing, because they aren't just everywhere at Disney world- they are seriously everywhere: six flags, sea world, most zoos. Sometimes restaurants like Cracker Barrel even have them!

I sometimes think it is crazy to spend 50 cents on a penny, but then I think it is really crazy to spend $8 on a pin, or even more on a vinylmation. So to me- it's a good cheap souvenir. The idea of having a quarter stash to limit them is a good one.

Note: There are also machines that press larger denominations of coins too. Even quarter presses.

I believe there is a new app too that will tell you where they are. And they really are everywhere.

The shops sell special books to put your pressed coins in too. We do them everytime we go to WDW.

Tips: prior to leaving for our trip we gather all the shiny clean pennies we can ~ We then put them in the mini m&m tubes. You can usaully find the tubes at stores that sell large amounts of candy. They are the perfect size to fit the quarters and the pennies.

If you are looking for a free app to help keep track of pressed pennies look at the app store for PennyCollect. Android version coming soon.

Going .old school" you can get a paper listing at guest services in MK that tells where all the machines are in all 4 parks (and I think resorts & DTD too). Last time I was there, the MK CM thought the other parks did not keep paper copies of the lists.
