Pressed coffee at Kona??

I think it is called "pressed coffee" but I am not a coffee drinker, dh is! We have ressies for Kona's b'fast one day and I wondered if you can get the "pressed coffee" on the DxDP...it is considered a beverage? or is it extra?

Don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure the pressed pot coffee is an additional charge. It's not considered an included beverage at Boma.

It counted as a beverage in April at Kona and Narcoossee's - I had it both times.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago and were on the DDP - not the deluxe. We were told that the pressed coffee is an additional charge. However, we had the regular coffee there - it is NOT Nescafe and our waitress told us that they grind there own beans at the restaurant.

I think it is called French press, just FYI. I am pretty sure it was additional on DDP but imho, well worth it! Got me started with one at home!

The press pot of coffee at Kona Cafe is 100% Kona coffee. The regular coffee there is a Kona blend.

Were you on the deluxe plan? I wonder if it's allowed in the DxDP but not on the DDP? We are coffee lovers (DH especially) and hate the Nescafe that's served at most of WDW. We definitely will order the pressed pot at Boma, even if it's extra, it will be worth it to have good coffee one morning We're also ordering water and coffee from Garden Grocer so we can make some in our room in the mornings.

We ate there in June2006 and when I made my resie the CM said they had the best coffee, so after dinner we ordered coffee and they charged us for it.

But what ever it was, it was the worst coffee I had ever had. I guess I am just use to my D&D coffee.
