presidents week

i just booked for 2/18-2/25 saratoga, had to go with a one br for first three nights, then studio for remaining. anyone else going this week? any observations on past pres weeks? thanks

I know there will be alot of people there from the south that week because Mardi Gras is on the 20th of February in 2007 and most schools are closed that week.

We went 3 years ago on that week and it also happened to be the same week as the Daytona 500. The crouds were as if it were summer. Long waits. I would not go back that week but if you are just plan on long waits.

We arrive on “Super Bowl” Sunday and stay thru the Daytona races and Presidents Day. Sure am looking forward to all the activity.

Monday, President's Day, I found the crowds to be unbearable given that it is the holiday and the day after Daytona. However, the rest of the week the crowds were very manageable and not long waits at all. we'll be there that week as well. Have fun.

I'll be going in that time frame staying at SSR too!!!! I'm pretty excited to see what SSR is going to be like and how President's Day week is going to be.

We'll be there the same week, staying at BWV. This will be our 4th trip to WDW during President's Week. Based on our past experience we are avoiding MK on Pres. Day. The rest of the week should not be too bad. After our Christmas week trip in 2005 nothing will seem crowded to me again!

Hi, We also have gone this week a few times. In RI it is Winter Break for school kids and lets get out of this cold ,dreary weather and catch some rays week for this Mom! I also avoid the MK on Pres. Day,but which park to choose?? I am thinking Epcot or possibly MGM?? Any thoughts or memories from last year??(even though I was there I do not remember CROWD levels at all! ) I am trying to get my ADRS done! Thanks, Joan

This will be our second trip at that time....first time at our home resort SSR! Cant wait...made reservations for a two room back in may. Last year, crowds were very managable considering school was out a that time. Weather is a little cool at night, but considering I live in Buffalo, I couldn't complain...Kids loved swimming(Too Cold for me). This time we will be taking in Blizzard Beach and I will be golfing. Looking forward to Feb.!

We were at WDW last president's week and were very surprised by the light crowds. The only ride that we really had any kind of wait for was Turtle Talk with Crush. For everything else we probaby averaged a 15 minute wait. We booked again this year also from 2/18 to 2/25 at VWL. Can't Wait

Just tried to book President's week tonight. Was told that the dvc is completely booked for that week!! No availablity at any resort. I have gone that week every year for the last 10 years. Never had that problem before. Usually book in August, but still I can't believe it's completely booked. It's going to be packed for sure.

I just booked a 1 br at SSR on Tues or Wed, SSR was the only place I could get all the nights, we are there 2/17 - 2/22, heading to Daytona on 2/18! Monday - presidents day, is a resort/hang low day, and then the rest of the week the crowds aren't crazy busy!
