We are thinking of planning a trip during President's Week in Feb 06. :)

I'm a teacher and that is when the schools are closed here in MA. I have only been to WDW in the summer and was wondering if anyone could let me know what the crowds...and weather too.., were like in Feb. I know it is a popular time to go but my April break coincides with Easter next year and I'm afraid the crowds will be even bigger that week.

I have heard that it is really crowded during the long President's weekend but then the crowds thin out as the week goes on....does this sound about right?

If anyone has been in Feb. and can post their experience I'd really appreciate it. :goodvibes

Thanks! :wave2:

FYI, it is usually a busy time, most of the Northeast has these days off, cabin fever starts to set in and a lot come down to WDW. Make sure to call and get any Priority Seatings you really want exactly 90 days prior.
The weather in Florida is great during the "winter" months.

Weather was pretty good, not much rain. Many days were a bit chilly to swim, but you could if your heart was set on it.

Crowds were busy busy busy. It did taper off a bit after the weekend itself, but still lots of people. Probalby not Easter busy. For reference, the MK was open until at least 11 every night during P-Week '05, with a Spectro every night.

Despite this, you can manage these crowds if you have a plan---either the Unofficial Guide or TourGuideMike will be very helpful. (Or, you can do what I do, and use both!) We waited more than 15 minutes for an attraction precisely once all week, and that was an intentional deviation from the TGM touring plan we were using.

Thanks for the replies so far :flower:

I have used Tourguide Mike in the past and plan to use his tips again.

:cold: Teacher too...my friend who went last year said it was fine. I am glad to hear about the extra hours that Brian Posted. I am on the BVC waitlist for Sun/Mon. Have to get away from the 30" of snow that we will be getting!!!

That's why I want to go in Feb. this year!! We have always gone during the summer in the past so this time, especially after getting a 3 ft snowstorm this past winter :crazy2: , I would love to to get away during the winter. ::yes::
