President's Week at Disneyland

I know that this week can get really crowded at WDW, but is it the same at DL? I've been trying to price a trip to WDW and the airfare has been making it impossible. It would actually be alot cheaper for us to go to DL instead. We've only been once before, and that was in June last year, so I'm not sure what the week would be like, or if it's just really an east coast issue with President's Week in February.

Yes, Presidents' week is crowded at DL too. About three years ago I made the mistake of pulling my kids out of school that week to go, thinking it wouldn't be crowded. Wrong! A lot of west coast schools have that week off as a winter break. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't the empty park I was hoping for. Get to the park at opening, utilize fast passes, and you should be fine, but don't expect low crowds.
