How are the parks this week, specifically arriving the Tuesday after President's Day? We've been Thanksgiving Week and arrived early at the parks, so would this same strategy help?

Hi Carolyn,

Yes, prepare for pretty big crowds, especially early in the week. By around Thursday the crowds will ease a bit, but will still be above average.

It was miserably busy the first part of the week last year, but at least we were at WDW :thumbsup2

Busy, busy, busy, but it's not stopping us for going again. The weather is usually wonderful, especially since NY is usually covered in snow at that time.

We arrived the tuesday after too last year and I didn't think the crowds were that bad, however, we did get to the parks early. I thought Halloween was worse. Then again, I was expecting low crowds for halloween in 1999 and it was a zoo. Avoid the EMH, as long as we did that we were safe.

We met friends in Epcot on Friday, (an EMH evening and Soaring fastpass return time at 11;00 were for 2:30-3:30. When we went on Saturday at 11:00 the return time was for 12:30-1:30. Have fun!!

We are going to try from Tues-Sat that week too! The advice I got was that it was very busy! I looked in my Passporter and it showed it not much more than late June/ early July. We always go during the busy summer time anyway and braved July 4th this year. I can handle the crowds, but the heat hit me hard this year. I figure I will handle the crowds better when it is cooler in February. Plus we can celebrate my DD's birthday on 2/23!

I was there during President's week last year and it was crowded, but not so crowded that it was crazy. We are going back again (I hope) for the same time next year. We could handle the crowds better because it wasn't 1 million degrees out! :)

I've been the last two years.
Once you get to Tuesday - it really isn't that bad. I find it to be less crowded than during Spring Break or summer. Plus since it isn't hot, I think any crowds are a lot easier to take. If you really want to avoid the lines, get there early and plan well for the fast passes. We didn't wait more than 25-30 minutes for anything that we didn't get a fast pass for.
