Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hello!!
My husband and I will be travelling to Disney in April partly for race week (my husband has a challenge medal in his list 🤪) and also for the usual Disney fun!! I am booking, and looking at Poly Club. Any fairly current reviews and a little understanding of the club lounge and rooms locations would be appreciated.
We have been staying at GF Club for our last several stays, but it’s not available. We used to be die hard Yacht and Beach club level, but feel like the club level in both are lacking and way way over monitored, kinda like being babysat and food offerings being quite small and stingy. Needless to say, YAY or NAY for Poly club. Thanks in advance friends!
Ugh I know, it’s a bit last minute for booking🤣
It just my opinion but I am a big fan of the YC CL. Cast members have been extremely outgoing to me, the club has been redone and updated. Yes it’s not the biggest nor the food offerings may not be like GF, but I think they have up its game over the last year. Breakfast has been pretty decent , there are more offerings at midday such as wraps etc… and light dinner has been decent. Deserts are good and I have never been denied wine or beer anytime I have asked during the day. And I have consistently been able to bring anything back to my room if I wanted. You can’t be the location for other restaurants and access to HS and Epcot. Again it’s my opinion. Veterans on this board have noted to me about the difficulty going from the Poly to Epcot especially around busy times on the monorail so I weighed what was important to me. Plus SAB is the best pool on property and has been renovated.
Hope you have a great trip

I have trouble answering this on CL alone. I think if y'all like Poly as a resort, then it's worth giving it a shot. I adore Poly as a resort and 'tolerate' the CL there - well at least that's my latest take, subject to change on any given trip. It was the perfect CL when my kids were young, but now with teens or if it's just an adult trip, I seem to like Poly CL less. Just a little noisy/hectic. Poly CL has the highest room count to lounge ratio and there are times where it shows (but to be fair there are times where it's blissfully quiet too).

It is not as nice or as good a CL/lounge experience as GF, if that's a standard for you.

Can't beat the Hawaii building location though, and I really like the current rooms.

Like all of them, so many pros/cons.

No one tends to babysit at Poly... beer and wine all self serve, evening apps are small plates but no one is monitoring you.

It's funny how you outgrow Poly Club. We went every year when the kids were young. I wouldn't rule it out now,
but it wouldn't be a top choice. Like GADisney Dad 14, it's just too chaotic. I feel like no one is monitoring their
little kids, and there are lots of folks in bathing suits because of the proximity to the pool. Also, the price has been outrageous.
I would pick Contemporary or RPC for the amounts they are asking for Poly. It's too bad because they have the greatest punch!

Lene is the best there is! She will be missed at the BWI. I wish her the best of luck in her new role. Was texting with her earlier and let her know how very sad I was. She has become a very good friend of my family and we will miss her so very much.
OMG. I may have to do a split stay to say hello but not giving up my BWI stay to go to the Poly.

I used to do poly cl b3 use the GV side was reasonably priced. Without a BB tho lately it’s too much for what you get.

Our July 2025 I did get the BB rate so did a few days. I lobe location! It’s just so convenient to walk to TTC or GCH , 2 pools nearby and a path to gf!

I never like the appetizers oddly. I say that because CC, Kona and the bar foods are all my favorites! The lounge has too many random sauces added to the foods. I am more simple foods so I do the cheeses mostly. desserts have been good tho compared to others,

Looking for recent info on AKL CL Jambo -
Where are the rooms located? I understand they’re all Savanah View, but wondering their location related to Uzima, Mara, etc

Standard offerings? Is there a toaster? Mug refill station?

Anything else helpful for a CL newbie :-)

I was just there in December, feel free to browse through my pictures starting HERE. There is a toaster, but no mug refill station. You do not need a refillable mug when staying CL, as you will have unlimited drinks (soda, water, juice, coffee, tea, beer, wine, champagne, sangria, cordials, etc.) Check out YouTube for videos to give you a better idea of what to expect in CL.

As for location all rooms are on the 4th floor facing the Arusha (Main) Savanna. You can request if you would like the zebra (right, pool, mara, etc) or kudu trail (left, arguably better views, more animals tend to be on this side). Note that they are animals and roam where they want so your experience could be totally different. The lounge is on the 6th floor, just FYI. The staff here is fantastic, tell Francisco he's famous on these boards 😄

Quick question, does anyone know if they still offer up the “buy into the club level” at Wilderness Lodge? Wasn’t sure if anyone had tried recently…

They don’t offer up. They don’t mention it. YOU have to enquire. I have yet to see anybody denied. However not guaranteed. Reminder it’s for length of stay.

I did book a maybe trip in April at WL with fingers crossed when I request it’s available. Good luck!

Ps not trying to be snarky, just wanted you to know they don’t advertise or talk about. Really most don’t know it’s an option.

Opinions/advice needed please. We are doing a split stay in April consisting of BWI and currently Contemporary theme park view atrium club access. I’ve been watching some you tube videos of the contemporary and I am not a fan of the room at all. This seems to be the consensus of those reviewing as well.
Will we love the actual club level lounge and food offerings along with the balcony to view the nightly fireworks enough to get past the room decor? We have never stayed at the contemporary, but thinking about moving to club level at wilderness lodge. We stayed there last year and really enjoyed that resort. Thanks for your advice.

We weren't the biggest fans of the room decor or layout at the Contemporary. Odd, but our biggest issue was the beds are connected to each other at the nightstand, so when a person moves in one bed, it made the other bed shake. The room also lacked horizontal surfaces like dressers and whatnot that we're used to at other deluxes, which seems like a silly thing to be an issue, but we apparently have a lot of stuff we want to put on those surfaces so we weren't a fan of that. We also really didn't like the pool area.

That being said, so far it's our second favorite club level we've stayed at. It had some of the best food of all the ones we've tried, the views are amazing, we loved grabbing wine from the lounge and watching the fireworks from our balcony, plus the access to the MK can't be beat. If we're planning a heavy MK trip, it would be our choice to stay at.

I will note, I see you've done CL at WL, and that is our third favorite club level, and very close behind the Contemporary. It definitely wins out with the pool area and room decor, but the rooms felt smaller and the views weren't nearly as good. Plus we liked the food more at the Contemporary outside of desserts and the Sunday morning mimosa flights.

I noticed Contemporary is your second favorite and Wilderness is your third favorite. What is your favorite club level? We are partial to Boardwalk and Grand Floridian (when we can get a deal ). I showed my husband your response and I think we are going to change the Contemporary reservation. He likes a dresser for all of his clothes and we both utilize the top of a dresser for items. Thank you for your detailed response; it was very helpful.

My absolute favorite is the Grand Floridian, sadly it's usually a bit too pricey for us, but we love it. We did just get a great bounce back for it in June and I cannot wait to be back!
