President's Day crowds

Asking for an educated guess because we are soooo very confused.
We will be arriving on Saturday Feb 22 to stay at BCV for 5 nights. Realize that day will probably be swamped and we have planned around that. But will it get better as early as Sunday or does it not start to thin out until Monday or later in the week? Trying to figure out when and where to make PS arrangements. Thanks for any help and suggestions.

I don't think it will be swamped. Probably just a bit more crowded that weekend, crowds will most likely thin after the holiday is over.

Very crowded, in our opinion!

We always go for 2 weeks the beginning of August & I've found the President's Day week crowds are worse. My DD & I normally fly down the Tuesday b/f Pres. Day & the parks are empty ~ normally the cheerleaders are just leaving. By the time my DH joins us on Saturday, the place is a zoo. The only good thing is we're in WDW!!

If WDW is crowded by Saturday of Presidents day, when do they significantly thin out again? TY

Cheerleaders? As in Rah, Rah Mickey! Go, Goofy, Go! cheerleaders?

I don't think I did a very good job of making my first post clear. I guess I mean President's Week crowds. President's Day weekend is Saturday, Sunday and Monday the 15th through the 17th. So do I understand you that by the following Sunday the 23rd (the day after we will be arriving) it should, may possibly, might be a bit less crowded oh, please, oh, hope? Is that what you meant, Kallison, by thinning out after the holiday?

I thought President's day was Monday Feb 17. So President's Day weekend should be at an end by your trip.

We always travel during President's week and have found over the years that you stay away from the MK on Sat, Sun and Mon - plan to go to the other parks as they are much less crowded. Once the Monday holiday has passed, then head for the MK - yes, it will be crowded but many of us on the northeast have our school vacations that week and we will be there!!!
Just have a wonderful time - don't let the crowds get you down!!!

Valentines Day is the start of Spring Break for us here in Florida... Although crowds will be heavier around the holiday, they will remain moderatly busy as many schools start thier spring break around then.

Starting Feb 22, the crowds will not be anywhere near as crowded as the Presidents' Week crowds which start to leave by Friday. You will still be crowded but not overwhelmed.
