Another problem I have with Obama is his experience. He was a one term senate memeber THAT"S IT. No exectutive or foreign experience at all!!!!!!!!!
Lincoln had less experience, yet many people regard him as the greatest President this Nation has ever seen.
thats really scary. i agree with that too. hes a scary dude. and who can support a president who is FOR ABORTION??? thats just terrible. give the kid a chance to live. it was ur fault your prego in the first place. deal. abortion is totally wrong.
Yes, because rape victims chose to be raped. It's their fault the guy who did it was crazy. They should live with the reminder of that event for the rest of their lives as just punishment for making somebody force them to have sex. Oh, wait, I forgot, if it was their fault they got pregnant- THEY MUST HAVE WANTED THAT GUY TO FORCE HIMSELF ON THEM!
I do.
And I don't support a non-Christian president. I don't care what he does in the White House.
You are incredibly closed-minded. This is a diverse nation! If you can't support the decisions of anybody who is non-Christian, what do you think of Ghandi?
And what's your opinion on Martin Luther King, Jr.? He was a preacher, yet there is proof that he had several mistresses while he was married. Now if that's condoned by Christianity, I must have missed something.
No single religion is perfect, and neither is a single person. I think you're on a high horse with your nose stuck in the air. I think Shelby said this a while ago, but I hope you don't drown the next time it rains.
And from the way you're talking, I'm going to suggest you move to Vatican City. You seem like you'd fit in perfectly there.
I love how the liberals attack the republicans, but you don't see the republicans calling out the liberals for every little thing.
Oh, republicans call out the liberals on a ton of things. On supporting the stimulus package, on supporting gay marriage, on supporting civil equality, on raising minimum wage. It goes on.
As for what I think of Obama. I'm for him. I think he's exactly what this country needed. He's a president who can unite the people of this country (OK, he can't unite the ignorant) with his ideals. I have no major issue with him or his policies. I am upset that the troops won't be coming home from Iraq until later than originally planned, but I think he's still got a lot going for him. I'm iffy on how I feel about the stimulus package, but I support him on that one. I like his views on nuclear energy and alternative energy sources.
He's not perfect, he's not infallible, but he's what we've got and he's going to try and make this country a better place. That, and I love his White House staff (RAHM EMANUEL, FTW!!!). OK, that last bit was shallow and had no real meaning, but hey, I can have a sense of humour, can't I?
