I got Scott a framed share of Disney stock at oneshare.com. Depending on your DF's tastes, they also have coca-cola stock, Harley, etc.

thats unusual - ill put that on my list! thank you - i am looking for unusual ideas!
(we get each other usual things all the time, so these kinda ideas is what im looking for)

I would look through disneyflorist.com

I am going to have petals on the bed and the bride and grooms ears basket (it comes with champagne, chocolate and cheese and crackers) in the room when we get back after after the dessert party.

This is what I got my DH:

They came is a little velvet Disney Couture bag :goodvibes

What about taking him to see Cirque or check out who is going to be playing at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney ( I got really lucky last year!!) Maybe spend a night at Disney Quest together. Sometimes experiences are fun gifts!

I'll probably buy my DF one of the Richard Petty driving experiences. It's not all that unusual, but he'd love it.

I got DFi some Mickey Cufflinks and I'm getting him, his dad, and brother tickets for the behind the trains tour.

My DF got me that for Christmas! :teeth:

I was going to buy Robert some Playstation 1 Final Fantasy games cufflinks from Etsy, but the little bugger found them on his own and wants to buy them for himself for the wedding! Grrr!! Someone suggested that I get him a watch, but he doesn't wear a watch and I bought him a silver pocketwatch when we got engaged...

I was pretty stumped on this as well... but my DF is making out pretty good

I got him a couple of things:
1. A custom made Disney watch from the Disney store... Even though he is not a watch person every day, I thought it would be nice for him to have when we get dressed up for special events.

2. I got this from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360158827870

just something small personalized with our names to rememer our Disney wedding

3. Then from the store in Epcot that does the heritage last names, I ordered his Family crest and the meaning of his last name. I had it framed from AC Moore's (shocked at the prices for framing :scared1:) in a double opening frame so we can hang it in our living room after we got married

4. I made him a special shirt thanks to some of the great DISdesigners on this board

So all in all I think he did pretty good...

Do you know the name of the store in Epcot and if I can order it from home? My DF has been looking at those things everyone time we pass one and that's a perfect idea for a present!!!

I'm wondering about this too. I came up with a couple things. One is a stainless steel keychain with koa wood inlay (an insider between us) and the other is the Richard Petty experience.

Our budget only allows for me to get him the ride-along though. I've heard it's "only OK." Has anyone's DF done the ride-along? How did they like it? We only have one morning while we're there to do this. Also, I'd be taking him there as a surprise so do they allow for spectators? I don't have anywhere else to go, don't want to spend extra money and we aren't activating our APs until another two days after that. Thx! :)

I'm curious about this too. I'm wondering if this is cool enough for the guy if it's the ride along one... How long is it and what exactly is involved besides the actual ride? I don't think I'll be able to do more than that because our budget is going to be pretty tight, and the only way I can buy him a present without him seeing it in our bills is to save my spending money (good thing I have over a year!!! :lmao:).

That's exactly what I am going to get DF. Have you decided which experience you're going to purchase? I am afraid the Rookie version might be too short?

Like everything else, it will depend on the budget! :rotfl: I want to get him the lifetime experience - or experience of a life time (what ever it's called), but may end up having to settle for the rookie one. I think he'll enjoy it either way, but the longer one sounds so much more intense, and more like what he'd choose himself.

Do you want the gift to be Disney related? Because if it doesn't necessarily have to be and your man is quite the geek (either with science, gaming, movies, whatever), I would suggest looking at www.ThinkGeek.com. They have a variety of completely random and nerdy things.

Is he into Star Wars? Look up the R2D2 pepper mill! ;)

thanks i will have a look at that website ...

im looking for ANY kind of present.. it doesnt have to be disney related... any ideas would help... from tiny presents to an expensive present...

Shoelaces?? Hehe

I am also really wanting to go with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. At the most, I will have to scrimp and save to afford the Rookie Experience. But I might have to do the Ride A Long. I just wish they had an experience in there for around $250, instead of jumping from $100 to $400!

AQt the last minute I decided to surprise my DH with 2 presents I guess- it was things to do on the HM. I booked the Segway tour which he stll talks about to this day and the Wishes Cruise which he also still talks about to this day!

Both were a little pricey but I made a last minute commision check and decided to splurge. We paid for the wedding ourselves so my original thought was "I am gift enough!". I am glad I ended up splurging 1) because he loved it and it was an awesome HM experience and 2) because he got me a beautiful pair of of pearl earrings from Tiffanys to wear on the wedding day and I am one of those people that feels guilty if I am given a gift and don't have one planned. I dunno why but I am:confused3
