My dd is in preschool w/14 other children. We would like to send something back (or bring it) for all of the kids in her class. However, we want something inexpensive.

Do you think it is feasible to get Mickey's autograph 15 times?

Or can someone suggest some other idea?

TIA,

Danielle

When we went I asked at one of the restaurants that had the black plastic mickey head dishes for the kids meals if I could have some new ones and they gave them to me no probs. I got 20 for my kinder class.

I think it is really sweet and kind of you to think of the rest of the class. I think though, that I would not do the gift idea. Even as an adult, sometimes it is hard to hear about or think of a Disney vacation that you do not get to go on. My best friend went last year and oh my gosh I was thrilled for her, but yes, honestly a bit jealous. This year our family is going and she too has said she wants to hide away in my suitcase.

My point is, by bringing up your Disney trip, you bring up all of these feelings in preschoolers. It can just be plain ol' hard to hear about such a dream trip, that may never happen in their own family.

Instead, if you want to do something fun and special for the class I would suggest a non-Disney gift. Volunteer to bring a class snack, or maybe a book mark, something that is a non-food item, to say that you are thinking about the class without making it Disney specific.

Just my thoughts.

You could get the MM suckers that come 5 in a pack or you could get some MM shaped straws.

you could buy a box of minnie cookies to share. I doubt the autographs would go over well, and people in line might get annoyed. we had 3 autograph books on our last trip, and some people gave us the look! :sad1:
you could also buy mickey cookie cutters and make Mickey cookies or rice crispy squares.

At my resort in the food court I bought 25 plastic Mickey head shaped drinking straws. I got them all the same color for my multi-age class of 3, 4 & 5 year olds. Everybody was happy and I think they were .99 each..and small to pack for the trip home. ;)
