Prepay and Disney Dining Plan

First off, thanks to all the DISers out there who unknowingly are helping me plan my 20th Wedding Anniversary trip to WDW. This will be first time DW and I have returned since our honeymoon. My DS 7 and DD 11 are coming on their first trip and I am and excited and stressed and the same time. I have a couple questions regarding the Spirit of Aloha show and the Fantasmic Dinner Package. I understand both reservations require prepayment to a credit card. We have elected to purchase the PPD with our trip so how does this change the way charges are applied to the credit card. Do I need to ask for a credit to my credit card?

If you have already made the ADRs and then buy the DDP, then they will credit it back to your card. If you have the DDP and are going to make ADRs, then you will give them your credit card number to hold the reservation, but it will not be charged unless you do not show up for the reservation.
