Prepaid or no contract....

cellphones or tablets. We are driving down to WDW next week and do not have a phone or tablet with 3G/4Gcapabilities. We were looking for something to help with car ride and vacation. Perhaps for weather, traffic wait times, last minute ADR's. Ya know important stuff!!!!! We do have a net book so we would even consider an air card but we wouldn't be dragging it out in the parks.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you want a tablet, check out slickdeals. I've seen some tablet deals in their hot deals forum. If you get a tablet, you can download games and books before you leave. You can even put movies on your tablet. That would help with the car ride. As far as the traffic times and weather, you would need an internet connection to do that stuff on a tablet. If your phone is capable and you have Verizon, you can get VZ navigator for your trip. I've had relatives sign up for it for a month (to use it on a trip) and then cancel. They didn't have 3g/4g phones. For last minute ADRs just put the disney dining number in your phone and call them.

I have Tmobile with no contracts. You do have to pay full price for the phones but it is nice not being held to a contract.

Do you have an ipod touch? If so, the Virgin Mobile Peel will get you the service you want for $20 for a month, plus $10 for the gadget itself.
