Has anyone done this private charter in Cozumel or know anything about it??
We have never done excursions, we just walk around the ports. I decided to just take a look and found this one offered. It is pricey!!

Did you do this excursion? I just booked it for my group of 12, but I’ve seen zero reviews. Dealing with DCL Port Adventures was agonizing.

No we did not do this excursion. My DD friends live in Cozumel and they told her they have never seen a “yacht” in port, it’s usually smaller boats and catamarans.
In the description is sounds like a “yacht” but people can use that term loosely. Based on that info I never pursued it any further.
When you booked did you ask what kind of boat it is?? Would love to hear your thoughts after you have taken this excursion.

We are not expecting a true “yacht”. The picture shows a boat (not a catamaran) and the description states a sun deck, covered lounge area, living room below, and 2 rest rooms. Since our group of 12 includes a child below the age of 8, we were prohibited from signing up for any of the smaller boat snorkeling excursions (restricted for ages 10+ and some at 8+). This is one of the only private excursions that offered everything, but without the age restrictions.

And DCL would not answer any questions. It was a nightmare booking this excursion with them. I would have found something on my own, but most private boat companies I found required us to taxi to an alternate location. This boat will be waiting for us at the port and I know the ship won’t leave without us.

So we did Ultimate Snorkeling by Boat (CZ00) in Cozumel...so not as pricey as that one, but still a lot. This was our boat:



I was very disappointed in the whole experience. So, when we went to Cozumel again in August, we just did a resort for the day at 1/10th the cost.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with that excursion! I was looking at that one too, but the Ultimate Snorkel Excursion was actually much more expensive on our sailing. It’s $319 per adult or $299 per child. The Yacht Excursion (CZ504) comes to $165pp for my sailing.

Also, the “all-inclusive beach resort day” excursion is $159 per adult. So not much of a price difference for us.

I did it through "resort for a day" and paid $99 for me and $49 for my son, but agree, the Disney one isn't much cheaper.
