I'm weighing up the pro's and con's of the Premium Annual Passport.

As a family (2 adults, 1 5yr old, 1 infant) who will maybe visit twice maybe three times in a year, I'm unsure if it is worth it.

We live about 2.5 hours away from DisneyLand, although we may spend a night or two at a resort hotel when we have visitors etc.

Obviously we will be buying food and souvenirs onsite.
One question I have that is not answered in the FAQ's though: Would I get a discount on buying park hopper tickets for other people? i.e. if I wanted to visit the park with 5-6 other people, could I purchase their tickets and get a discount? If so what is the discount?

Any thoughts/comments from Annual Passport Holders with their experiences (or anyone else for that matter) much appreciated.

You do not get a discount with an AP buying other park admission.

If it's only a maybe that you will go three time then no. If you will go three times 2days or longer each time then yes.

The hotel discounts may not be much compared to the general discounted rates so it's not very helpful.

If you aren't sure, consider one person getting the AP. If premium this means free parking which can help recoup the cost quickly at $15 per day. The person who pays need the AP to get discounts on food and merchandise, so if only mom or day has them savings will stack up.

New here, but would like to put in my 2 cents.I would say no it is not worth getting the Premium if you are only going to visit twice maybe 3 times in one year. But on the other hand there is 3 other passes, have you looked at those? Also take into consideration parking,$15 every time you go is not worth it. Have the free parking added to what ever pass you may get. And good luck!

I agree with PP's, don't get the Premium for 3 times a year. For discounts & parking you could get 1 pass (mom or dad) and then SCAL or Deluxe for the others. But think about $15 for parking = only $45. The passes have a big difference in price, check out the website.

Dining is only 15% discount at the sit down restaurants, other are 10%. Again, not much for 3 times/year. But it does add up for 50-100 times/year!

Hi,
I am in a smimilair situation that you are in

My family is my and my husband and our 6 year old son.
We live 90 minutes away from the park. We love our premium passes as we visit about once a month and if we stay for multiple days or longer we too will get a hotel (we got a great discount at HOJO"s with the pass)

I recommend getting it but that it just my personal opinion. For us the monthly payment system worked out nice.
