For those still here, I found some old WDW pictures to share. These are pictures from my first trip to WDW! Sorry for the poor quality, the pictures themselves are not the finest...combined with my horrible scanner and you don't get great quality.

I was 4 years old and it was 1978. I don't remember much about the trip...but I do remember my Mickey Mouse pin, ears and that yellow sundress. I remember wearing them, holding a Mickey ears balloon (the kind with the black ears inside of the clear outer balloon) in one hand and my dad's hand in the other and skipping down Main Street. Ahhh....

Hope you enjoyed my little skip down memory lane.

Really, let her know that I miss her and I am keeping her in my thoughts. Give her a gentle hug and the BOTH of you stay safe with the weather that's coming.

Old pictures are always some of my favorite parts of people's trip reports/pre trip reports (check out Heidi's pre-trip report for a ton of pictures from yesteryear, she is GREAT about including them).

Up next...I waited too long.

So, I waited too long. I called the IPO this morning and tried to have them book my two youngest into the cooking class at the GF and it was full. I should have hopped to it right away. I will check that morning and see if anyone has canceled, but my guess is that this will be one of those things that we will have to put on our "try next time" list.

Why, oh why, did I wait? No good reason at all. I guess I am just being a slacker.

Speaking of slacking, we have an enormous pile of clothes, costumes, everything else under the sun piled up to pack into suitcases. It's time for me to get to putting the stuff into the suitcases but I am not going to even attempt that until this Friday. I figure I can pack Friday, Saturday and Sunday and get it all done. Packing for 6 people for just over 2 weeks sure does take a whole lot of piles to sort it all out!

On a very happy note, did I mention that we are now doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE?!!

And I did book a pedicure/manicure for myself at the GF for the morning of our "dream day". This way, I won't be able to spill the beans as tempted as I know I will be! I wish they had a little smilie with duct tape over it's mouth. That is just what I might need as the day gets closer and closer!

Hi guys, TOTALLY OFF TOPIC...but if you believe, would you mind saying a prayer or two for our very best friend and his wife and baby? He is a firefighter in the Houston area and there own house is "not good" but he is working trying to help rescue people and put out fires that are as of now burning unattended throughout the city. We heard from his wife about 5 hours ago, but nothing since.

I know this is a totally off topic request, but as I sat down to do some updating on the packing, I realized I couldn't right now, I am just too worried. He has been both dh and my closest friend since freshman year of college.
