Hello all!

I'm in the midst of sloooowly trying to talk my DH into going to WDW in October for food and wine and some halloween fun.... but there might be a chance (hopefully) that I could be pregnant around that time... so I'm wondering if any other ladies have done food and wine while pregnant?

I'm thinking "wow! that would be great! I could slowly waddle my way around world showcase and eat lots of yummy food!" but then I realized, what if I just can't eat all that food because my stomach won't let me??

just wanted to see if others out there have experienced this and how it was for you!

thanks! :grouphug:

Oooh. That's a tough call! There's no way to predict what you'll eat, and what will make you barf at the smell of it. I'd say book it, and if you're having a great pregnancy, go! If you're not, just reschedule for when your little one is born.

Hope you get your BFP! :thumbsup2

We booked our disney vacation for the beginning of March back in November and now I'm 3 months pregnant with horrible morning sickness. I still have 1 month before we leave so I'm hoping that it gets better (although with my dd I had horrible morning sickness until 5 months), but it isn't an ideal situation.

Bottom line, however, especially with respect to pregnancy you can't always predict what is going to happen and/or time it perfectly -- which is why I went ahead and booked in November even though I knew we were going to start trying for a second soon thereafter.

I'm a huge wine lover, however, and I don't know how I would make it through the wine&food festival pregnant.

I did the Food and Wine Fest..Prego..TWICE! haha

Honestly...the smell of the various foods made me so sick to my stomach. I enjoyed the atmosphere and my husband liked the drinks but for me it really wasn't great. We'd take a quick walk around the world showcase then head for the monorail. The Magic Kingdom didn't smell so bad!

I say go ahead with your plans for now & then reevaluate when it gets closer & you know how far along you'll be & how you're feeling. Some ladies luck out with no morning sickness or food aversions! ;) Mine was never bad & was completely gone 3 months along. After 3 months I would've LOVED to be there during the F&W Fest! GL to you! :goodvibes
