Pregnant at WDW?!

Congratulations!

I went when I was pregnant, too. I guess I was between 16 and 20 weeks (I can't remember as that baby is now 10!) along. I was able to do a lot but didn't push it. Rode the gentler rides, took breaks. My son was 3 1/2 and he was at such a fun age. I remember it being one of our best trips, even though I was huge. :)

I was right around 28 weeks when I went in August/September 2014 so I had quite the belly by then, but was past the morning sickness and general blah feeling. I didn't ride any of the mountains/coasters or Tower of Terror. I though the Safari at AK was fine, I sat in the front just to be safe because it is less jarring. I would window shop or take pictures (or eat! :mickeybar) while the rest of my family rode the more intense rides. I would say bring a large reusable bottle for water and make sure you take breaks in A/C. We did stuff like Enchanted Tales with Belle even though we didn't have little ones. I do not do well in the heat, so this was a must for me! We stayed onsite and did the dining plan so we had a lot of sit down dinners and lunches. I thought it was nice to have a more relaxed trip. I love photography so it was fun to find nice shots and perspectives you normally wouldn't notice. I've been to WDW many times so I never felt like I was missing out on anything. I'm excited to bring my now 2 year old daughter during the DIS 20th! I'm sure it will be a MUCH different experience this time around! Congratulations and enjoy!

I just wanted to say congratulations! I'm going to be there this may as well and pregnant. I'm 21 weeks along with my second so I should be showing a little by then. I'd say typically 16 weeks is perfect because she should be past morning sickness (at least most women are) but not yet really showing! Plus first trimester fatigue should be over by then as well.

Just stay hydrated but that's good advice for everyone!

I also went around 16 weeks with my first child. It was June, it was Hot. Drink lots of water!! I enjoyed Epcot a lot because of the food variety! Makes it fun! Enjoy!

Epcot is my favorite park! I LOVE all the sights and that you don't need to get on rides to have a fantastic time!

Been twice during pregnancy, my now ten year old son loves saying that his first Disney trip was in mummy's belly. Take things slowly, drink tons of water, rest when needed and enjoy your last WDW trip as a family of two. Congratulations!

Love this post! Was wondering about going at 26 weeks, sounds like as long as I don't plan to "over do" everything should be just as fun! Curious if anyone prefers going while pregnant vs. with a young little one (2-3 months?)?

I just went at 27 weeks. Other than being more tired & little less tolerant of things, it was fine. I’m going again just for a brief weekend at 33 weeks. I also plan to go with a 6 1/2 mo old on a family trip & to ride stuff I missed! I wouldn’t go with a baby that young, personally.
