Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Also, I'm sorry about your loss last fall. I totally understand about worrying about every twinge and spot. The first three months of being pregnant with my son after having a miscarriage were possibly the most stressful of my whole life--all I could think about was checking to see if I was spotting!

Thankfully my doctor was very understanding and gave me an ultrasound at my first appointment (9 weeks) to check the heartbeat and see that all was well; that made me feel better!
Anyhow, to answer your question: first pregnancy (miscarriage)--had appointment scheduled for 10 weeks, but went in at 6 because of the miscarriage. Second pregnancy (DS#1)--first appointment was at 9 weeks. Third pregnancy (DS#2)--I went in at 4.5 weeks, the day I had a positive pregnancy test, because I was spotting. Turned out everything was okay, but I went ahead and had my first full doctor appointment, ultrasound, etc. at 6 weeks because of the spotting.
So great to see that healthy little heart beating away!
Have you called the doctor about your spotting? My doctor said that spotting with a positive pregnancy test should always be checked out because of the remote possibility of ectopic pregnancy--I'm sure your little baby is just fine, but maybe you'd feel better talking to your doctor (and hopefully getting an early ultrasound) if possible. I know I did!
Best wishes for a healthy (and as worry-free as possible!) pregnancy!
