Pregnancy Board!!

I'm also 25 weeks and taking our baby to WDW in early October. We're also staying at BLT. Nice to know there will be other little babies there:)

Oh wow, that's awesome! Good to know I'm not the only "crazy one". Hope to see you out by the pool :) We're there from the 6-17. I am so excited! This is the first Disney trip in my 36 years that I have something even more exciting than a Disney trip to look forward to!

Congrats!

thank you so much!! I'm having pressure off and on very low, but I keep reading that is normal, but not the pain. Hopefully I can get in soon?

Yes I agree with telling all of your symptoms to the dr. Especially since this is the first. I'm on #3 and have had different symptoms every time! Pains however i've had with all of them.

Ultrasounds have come @ a different time with all of mine also. There are some 3D places that you can pay for.

Thanks for sharing!! I keep having pains in my left side, so I'm so nervous about it being ectopic. After so many negative tests over the past 5 1/2 years, I'm still not in full belief of this... Errrrr..... These 4 positives.

Of course you want to talk to your doctor and take pain seriously, but don't freak out yet. I had round ligament pain very early on with this pregnancy. At 6 weeks I couldn't sleep on my stomach because when I turned over onto my back the pain was excruciating. As in, I would wake up screaming in pain--until I finally stopped sleeping on my stomach (I was a stomach sleeper until then). The pain is low, near your hip bone, and frequently only on one side. It has mostly passed now for me, which is the opposite of what most people experience. So you just never know!

That said, if the pain is intense and doesn't go away after a few minutes, call your doctor immediately. Their job is to keep you healthy during pregnancy and would much rather be woken up or called away from dinner than have you suffer.

Thanks! it doesn't last more than 15-30 seconds, and generally isn't more than a ooh that hurts pain, but every now and then it is a make me stop what I'm doing pain. I plan on calling in the morning. If I hadn't gotten positive tests I would think it is an ovarian cyst, but I wouldn't think that is possible.

Not sure if it is the same thing or not, but my friend got a positive test after month 2 on Clomid and it was a blighted ovum. She found out at 9 weeks when she went to her first dr visit.

My pain was more a general full, aching pain that sorta came and went throughout the day. Nothing particularly noticeable that made me call or go in. It felt better when I laid on my belly, oddly enough. I also got really dizzy when I stood up, but for some reason didn't find that weird at all. My belly didn't grow either, yet by 9 weeks with my youngest it was definitely starting. Otherwise had regular pregnancy symptoms like nausea and vomiting, fatigue, etc.

I have been looking for a thread like thia! we've been trying for #2 since November of last year.

Hey ladies!!! I hope everyone is still doing well!!! I called my dr on Tuesday, an had a blood pregnancy test done. It came back at 1500 which they said was good for 5wks. This morning I go for an ultrasound to rule out an ectopic pregnancy or any other issues. Wish me luck and pixie dust:) After getting the confirmation from the blood test, DH is really excited now, which makes me even more nervous for something to be wrong. I guess we will find out at 930!

Hi Ladies! happy to find this board! I'm 5.5 weeks with #3 and really in disbelief. It was kind of a surprise, but we had a miscarriage between #1 and #2 and now I hate that I don't feel like I can get excited about a pregnancy until it's totally 100% confirmed! It kind of takes all the fun out of it. I'm feeling good and my home tests look strong, but my appt isn't until May 15. :sad1:

We're heading to Disney on May 30, which if everything is alright, puts me right around 11 weeks. I'm hoping I am feeling good for the trip! With DS I had no MS, but DD I was nauseous every night. I guess every pregnancy is different and I'll just have to wait and see!

Welcome Welcome!! I am 5 wks 3 days and had an ultrasound this morning to rule out an ectopic bc of pain I have been having. There was nothing to see on baby, but what looks like a fluid sac with a halo around it. They said that is looked normal. :confused3

This is my first, so I have no idea what to expect. DH feels bad because I'm not excited, but I don't want to be excited until I know for certain everything is ok. Fortunately, I get to go back on may 9th where we will hopefully see something, but it is only because they found 2 cyst a very enlarged ovary. They are hoping it will go down, but want to recheck just to make sure. Before this my first appointment wasn't until May 23rd:crazy2:

Good luck to you!!:flower3:pixiedust: I can't imagine the fear you have having experienced a miscarriage. Keep us posted:listen:

Exciting! I think I'm 5w3d as well- Wonder if we are due date buddies! Is your due date Dec 24th? Congrats to you! I think at 5w3d what they saw is totally normal and all they can see at that point. My friend has had IVF a couple times, and with that they do many early U/S and there isn't much to see at that point. I think around 6.5 weeks they can possibly see a heartbeat. Hope your next U/S shows something more fun! :)

I am 7 weeks tomorrow. We are heading down to BLT on 5/11 so I'll be 9 weeks while there. This trip is going to be very different. Thankfully I've had no MS yet, but I'm in bed by 8 pm every night! Of course, this is after waking up for work at 5:30 every morning, so I'm hoping to have a little more energy while there.

We had our second sonogram (after going through IF treatments) on Tuesday and saw the heartbeat fluttering and could hear it too (even though it was very faint). Dr. said everything looks great and we go back again next Tuesday for another look at our little bean.

Based on my LMP, I have been given the due date of December 23rd!!! So so close!!! I'm sure I will def be hoping this in December, but I hope they come early. My little cousins birthday is December 26th, and people forget his bday ALL the time!!! The week before would be great;)

haha No MS here either, but I'm in bed every night around 9, and up at 615/630 for work. That is so exciting you saw a flutter!! My second u/s will be at 7 1/2 wks, so I'm hoping to see more than a little dot:) Enjoy your trip!! Is this your first?

I had an ectopic so with my last baby I went in really early for bloodwork and then an ultrasound. First one I was 5 weeks, 6 days and she didn't think we'd see a heartbeat yet, but we did. She said that was around the earliest she sees them (and I likely ovulated a little earlier than that wheel predicts, as I generally do, so I was probably more like 6 weeks, 2 days).

And my little one was born December 10th, the day before he was due which was fine with me because I also wanted a little space between his birthday and Christmas.

I just discovered this board. I am 12w 5d today and I leave for wdw 5/24. I have been so exhausted I'm really worried how I am going to manage in he parks for 4 days with my excited nieces. It's usually just DH and I and since we are AP holders we just take it slow. This trip will be so different as it's me, my sister and her two kids. I'm scared! Lol this is my first pregnancy and I hope I turn around here in the next two weeks!!

Just returned from 6 days at WDW. I am at the beginning of my 8th month and had a blast. I can't believe I did it and had energy everyday, guess I was just so excited to be there!! It was different this trip shopping for baby and paying attention to things I never had before! Just 8 more weeks to go!

My wife and I just found out Saturday we are expecting a little Micky or Minnie : ) Our trip is planned in late September and we have a few questions:

Should we try to book for an earlier date like August? She will be around 24 weeks on the dates we have booked right now.

Will she be limited to Most rides while being pregnant? We already know the crazy coasters are off limits. I know if she doesn't feel comfortable to ride anything she won't do it but I know she wants too. It's a small world here we come!

Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated!

One thing: I know things can happen between now and then, but that's not apart of my post. Positive posts please. The more positive advise and experiences I can give her the better. Thank you for understanding.

The reason I ask that is I had posted on another forum and somebody replied: " don't get too excited things can happen between now and then" and that rubbed me the wrong way.

We are very excited for our trip together, we have been planning a trip before we had kids but now we have one (or more) on the way and we are even more excited now to take this trip! We just want to see experiences and take advise for other who have been to WDW or any other Disney park while being pregnant.

Sorry for the rant : ) I just don't see why someone has to immediately take something negative out of a situation that life brings right off the bat.

No safari at animal kingdom! I did it at 16 weeks... Not a good idea! That was the only ride I thought would be ok but wasnt

I am curious how this pregnancy will change our trip. Hopefully we will still be able to go. Our plans were to have one last trip with just the 3 of us before we try for #2. We got quite the shock when we found out that #2 is already on their way. Of course we found out just 4 days after we book our trip. Now I am looking at being 7 months pregnant for it. Hopefully my doctor will give me the okay to go.
