Preferred Wishes and Illuminations viewing

We get preferred Wishes and Illuminations viewing with our package booked through Disney UK. I called today to book but the CM at first said it wasn't possible, went off to speak to someone else and then tried to book them but said it was full for all the dates I suggested, which I sincerely doubt. Does anyone know please how to do this?

Don't bother doing the preferred viewing for Wishes unless you want a cr@p view (putting it midly here!).

The preferred viewing area for illuminations is a lot better though.

I guess try to phone another day. We just got a voucher with our travel docs and had to show it to the CM at the entrance area of the preferred viewing locations.

Don't do the Wishes one!!!

I'd heard that before! May as well book it as it's free! Not too fussed about fireworks anyway but Illuminations is a must - glad the view is better! Do you have to book in advance? I can't see any info about it anywhere.

One viewing per Theme Park, voucher required. Advance reservations are required at least 24 hours prior and can be made up to 90 days prior to viewing date by calling 407-939-7860. Subject to availability, certain block-out dates apply.

Just found this on another forum so hope their info is correct.

There are indeed special viewing areas for the evening firework shows at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. It can vary due to special activities that might be going on in the parks but it is always with a great view and you won't have to elbow to get a good spot an hour before hand. In the Magic Kingdom you will meet at the Plaza Landing by the Plaza restaurant and in EPCOT you will meet at the Morocco boat landing. It is preferred viewing and there will not be seats.

Is that a UK number or direct to WDW so it needs the international code adding? I need to phone about this in a few days time, thanks!

It's direct to WDW so you need to put 00 1 in front of it.
