Preferred Saratoga Springs Studio or CSR Standard for first no car trip

Hi guys, thanks to my boyfriend's new Disney Store CM status we will be doing a "short notice" for us trip in late January. We want to do a split stay and have YC for the last 4 nights, and currently have CSR for the first 3. For an extra 200, we could do SSR. We really like later night access to hot tubs so the fact all the quiet pools have them is huge, and the walking access to DS is certainly attractive since we are flying for the first time and aren't currently planning on a car rental. However I've always heard mixed things about SSR and raves for CSR. The fact El Mercado isn't opening with CSR is freaking me out. What do you guys think?

I loved Coronado and have never stayed at Saratoga Springs, but if money were no issue, I would do Saratoga. So many food options at Disney Springs.

I would pick SSR every time for all of the options at Disney Springs.

You won’t regret it! We’ve stayed at both and love SSR for the location next to DS.

If you can make a request, Congress Park area will get you closer to Disney Springs. The Springs will get you closer to the Carriage House at SSR. These are the two preferred locations at SSR.

Please let us know what area you got at SSR (we will be heading there in 60 days!). We are requesting Congress Park also.

Downside of Congress Park is that this is the last stop before the clubhouse and last time we went the bus was often full before it hit this stop. No idea what things are like now, though. We prefer the Paddock area for first crack a buses and the great pool and grill over there.
