Should we do this-or are all rooms decent locations since it is a smaller resort?

small is relative!!

Lots of posts and pictures on the main pop thread (go to the sticky, then find the pop thread to click on)

We get prefer because I want to stay at Lady or Tramp. If Lady and Tramp were in the back back of the resort, I'd stay there!! the way the resort is laid out and the way the bus lines up - it all works out!!

Many people do not believe its worth it, and I can so understand that - so go to the map thread, and you can decide!!

We go with the preferred and ask to be close to the bus and food court areas. We love POP, it is our favorite.

We stayed preferred last time and were VERY happy with our location. We were in the "Lady Building" and it was a quick walk to buses, food court, and two pools (petal pool and bowlling pin pool). It was great and would definately pay the extra $$ for preferred!!

We stayed in a standard room in the 80's building. We loved it. It wasn't a far walk to anything, but far enough from the main building so it wan't noisy. My DB and SIL stayed in preferred and said they cold hear everything from the hippy dippy pool, where people were swimming until 12:00am and later.

We stayed in the 50's (Lady and the Tramp), standard room at POP and really liked it.

We stayed in the 90's building and it was a quick walk to the main building and pool. Everything is much closer than it looks on the maps (IMO). I liked being in the 90's building, away from the pool and noise but within minutes of anything. I don't like being in the middle of everything BTW, but have a 3YO and a 4YO so I try to make sure I'm not too far from everything.
