Preferred Pop Room Request

We have two preferred rooms at Pop Century booked for July. I requested connecting rooms. We want a quiet room close to the bus stop. Any suugestions what section to request? Thank you!

I had a Preferred room in the 70s and loved it - I would always request that section. There is no pool in the 70s, which may help with noise. I was in Bldg 10, ground floor facing the courtyard on the end nearest Classic Hall, and it was super convenient to food and buses (and not at all bad to the bridge where the Skyliner station is).

I agree with 70s section preferred. Just far enough away from the pool to be less noisy, yet a quick walk to Classic Hall and buses. We were in rm 6212 (so, building 6) one year and it was great, can't remember if it was a connecting room or not.

Hey, that would be straight across from my room (0161) and up a floor!
Mine was not connecting. I think rooms at the end of a row don't connect because the connecting door is in the opposite corner from the entry door and there is not another room on that side.

Preferred rooms are closer* to, well, everything. The more requests you make, the harder it will be to grant them. I suppose you could add fourth floor, for the quiet, but I wouldn't get any more specific than that.

*Pop is relatively small; nothing is really far from any features.

“Quiet” depends on so many factors, I imagine it is the hardest to fulfill. What is quiet one day could have screaming kids - or be surrounded by a tour group - the next.

I agree with @kaytieeldr that the more requests the harder it is to fulfill. If connecting is most important, I would be really tempted to just leave that the only request since you have preferred anyway. Possibly add 4th floor as she said so there is no one above you. But make it clear which priority is higher/most important.

I found building #1 away from the pool fit that perfectly. My room was 3rd floor when you went up the very first bowling pin stairway, and was facing away from the pool. Loved that location!
