Definitely would take this to be an indication that maybe total sales vs each individual resort is the current strategy.

Interesting they added the lower level incentives for PVB. While not a lot, it must mean they felt it would tip the scales!

100 and 125 points gets $5 off per point now, they got no discount before. Not too much changed besides that, the $15 off doesn't kick in until 500 points and that used to be 300 points I think.

Based on my math, a 150 point contract at the Disney World resorts (with member incentives) would cost:
Cabins: $28,250 ($188 per point)
Riviera: $31,650 ($211 per point)
Poly: $32,250 ($215 per point)

The cabins are being offered at rates we've seen other resorts sell for at resale

What's the deal with Magical Beginnings? I inquired about using it when considering buying Polynesian direct, but the salesperson said it wasn't valid at Poly. I don't see the language in the terms saying Poly is excluded though. Did that language change in the new offers page?

DVCNews says it's $195/pt for cabins at 150.

I see on the DVC page that it's $195/point plus a flat $1,000 discount which effectively makes it $188/point on a 150 point contract.

Magical beginnings is an additional offer so it doesn’t show up on the sheets. You have to contact MS to find out if it is offered for the resort you want.

For RIV it looks like 200 points is the sweet spot. I'm still sort of kicking myself for not taking advantage of this past Spring/Summer incentives though. IIRC 150pts got down to effectively $178/pt with Welcome Home credit plus Magical Beginnings. With no Welcome Home this round we're looking at $191/pt with Magical Beginnings for the 150pt mark while 200 points gets down to $176/pt.
