Hi! We're going to Alaska this summer. My family is gold but we're going with friends who are first time cruisers. Should we wait to book our character breakfast, princess and frozen meet and greets with our friends when their booking window opens or should we book ourselves during the gold window and hope that there's a spot for them at our designated time? Has any of these experience booked full before the booking window opens for first time cruisers? We're planning on booking palo brunch and dinner when the gold window opens because we waited last cruise and couldn't get palo brunch. Thanks you!

I'd go ahead and book my meet & greets, etc and then see if there's still space with it's time for them to book theirs. If there is, no problem. If there isn't, you'll have to make a call then about whether to keep them or not.

Of course, you could solve this by putting a gold CC member in the other room. On paper, they don't actually have to sleep in that room.

If you can book now, do. I booked as quickly as I could since we're newbies, and the only time I could get the princesses was at 10:15 on our day when tenders open for Grand Cayman at 10:30. Not ideal.
